I would love to see Philly and Ginn sign elsewhere. Not that I have anything against them, I just feel like we need to upgrade at WR and them going elsewhere would FORCE us to add new bodies at WR.

I'm ok with Philly leaving.  Like the kid, but not sure he's what we need in a WR3 or WR4.

Ok with Bersin leaving too, though he's perfectly solid depth and I'd be ok with him staying with a MINIMUM contract, expecting him to be inactive most games unless needed due to injuries.

BUT, I really hope we can reach a fair, modest contract with Ginn. Sure he's maddening with the drops, but he makes gamechanging plays and he and Cam have pretty special chemistry, and until we know we have another receiver who provides the same speed / deep threat, I think we keep him.  Ginn knows he's got something special with Cam.  I hope he'll take a "hometown" discount of sorts to stay...

It's smart business wise.  Bersin isn't going to pull a pick on the market and Brown is worth probably a 6th at best. So since they are both undrafted jags, the original round and 2nd round tenders are useless.  Whatever capital that comes from them (comp pick or comparable free agent) is more valuable.

Or we could axe Ginn too  to draft John Ross or Dede Westbrook . I don't think signing Desean Jackson is realistic for this organization.

Good for him. He's had to earn everything he's gotten in this league and I hope he gets a chance to contribute more somewhere else.

In before he scores his first touchdown and people start imploding.

Huddle now that we know he is leaving: Good Luck, Philly. Stand up guy. Wish nothing but the best. Always liked that guy.

Huddle when we find out where he is going: Good, that piece of trash is worthless. Good riddance. Always hated that guy.

Huddle when he scores a td in week one: FIRE GETTLEDOUCHE! HE IS DESTROYING THIS TEAM! WHY DOES HE ALWAYS GET RID OF OUR BEST GUYS!!!!!

This is setting the stage for the next evolution of offense......

We bring in Marshall, Decker, and Jeffery. 5 Wide. 6 if you throw in Olsen. Everyone 6'3" or taller. Hawg Mollies on the line. Hawg Mollies at QB. Hawg Mollies at TE. Hawg Mollies at WR!!! Gettleman strikes again!!! FTW!!! WUAHAHAHAHAHA

Going back home to Cleveland

They just got rid of Hawkins...so he could be his replacement...Hawkins is faster and has better hands so it's definitely a Browns move. One year Hawkins had a 3.5% drop rate.

He played with Cleveland QBs....

Apparently he's also a super high character guy:

Sadly I am unable to view Philly because he private'd his account before I got the chance to, but this is concerning if true.

all he's done is congratulate other guys who resigned with the Panthers: Bersin, Fozz, CJ and Colin Jones

and then he said this:

Loyal to me I'm loyal to you #simple
