Fufu's Board-Wide Mock Draft

With the 66th Pick the 49ers select...... Dion Dawkins.

In complete rebuild mode and drafting their franchise man.  Building the Trenches and protecting him is key.

Most 1st round franchise QBs you see that flop or don't live to potential get killed by bad OL.  They get broken and confidence is shot.  Hyde is a stud RB as well but about as Fragile as Stewart.  Him running into brick walls hasn't helped the situation.  With Staley at LT, Dawkins at LG, and Garnett at RG.  This OL does a complete 180 from 2 years ago.

With the 67th pick in the Huddle NFL draft, the Chicago Bears take Adoree Jackson, CB USC. The Bears secondary is atrocious, and while Jackson may be undersized, he has an athletic ability that helps him compensate for it. He's probably going to be limited to the slot where he's going to need to sharpen his skills against bigger receivers, but he can be an instant contributor on ST and that's what the Bears need. Lots of athleticism and drive from a guy that can make an impact in multiple places.

With the 68th pick in the draft, the Jaguars select...

Adds another young stud to the secondary of a now, much improved, Jaguars defense.

I dont know if anyone has the Rams so someone can make their pick.

Every year the Rams make a head scratcher and this year is going to be no different. With the 69th pick in the huddle draft, the greatest poo show on turf selects Jourdan Lewis, CB, Michigan. This is going to be a highly questionable decision with having only a handful of picks and this could really be a boom or bust move. Lewis has been projected as high as late 1st by some and a mid round pick by others.

The simple fact is, he has skills and an overwhelming drive to succeed. He's not the ideal size for a CB but he has flashed instinct and ability to make plays on the ball and he seems to end up in the right place at the right time more often than not. He has closing speed and looks like he he could excel in the slot plus he is a gunner on ST so that's a bonus. The downside is he is smaller for a CB and he needs to develop his tackling abilities in order to prevent getting bowled over by bigger receivers and RBs. He's also cocky and plays with a chip on his shoulder, but that's not a bad thing all the time. Panther fans are well aware of what a little guy with a big chip on his shoulder can do. The Rams have a huge question mark at the CB position with the future of Trumaine Johnson in question and having lost Jenkins last year in FA, so adding another corner seems very necessary.

Now comes the major question. What's going to happen with the domestic violence charge against him? Officers found no physical marks on his girlfriend which leaves it as a basic he said/she said. He admits he put his hands on her, but only to get her off of him, not to hurt her. Time and investigation will tell. Not too sure what the league would do as far as punishment for this, since it happened only a few weeks ago, but as a misdemeanor, it shouldn't result in much more than probation and community service if guilty and a possible 4 week suspension from the NFL if they can do so.

Lewis has a high ceiling and could really develop as a nickel back in a pass driven league, so the risk is probably worth it, especially for Wade Phillips.
