Breakfast- Piece of fruit or whole wheat toast with jelly

Lunch- Tomato soup or veggie sandwich or salad

Pre-work out supp

Dinner- Some sort of vegetarian meal typcially under 500 calories

This is where the day turns. Fight going to sleep because I'm bored and need more fun in my life. Either i will give in and go to bed OR eat enormous amounts of candy or cookies and sometimes wine and then wake up feeling guilty as hell. Rinse and repeat.

I'm in a rut and got to fix it.

is working out late an option?

sounds like you're eating way too few calories from your regular meals. piece of fruit is about 100, tomato soup around 200, then if dinner is 400-500 you're only eating 700-800 calories for the day. that's extremely low for anyone.

go search one of the calorie calculators that will figure out how many calories you need for maintenance and try to hit around that number so you won't be tempted to binge late at night on junk food

This.

Have your meals be simple. Each meal, make sure you're getting a protein source, a complex carb, and make sure you have veggies. Simple. Snack on fruit and protein sources. Avoid processed sugar like the plague. Eat fish. Keep sodium reasonable (big one for most of us here in the south). If you're doing that, you'll be fine. If you're not doing that, you'll feel it.

How's meal prep going lately @Dex

It's been good I'm getting about 250g of protein a day and the Turkey Chili came out delicious. I'm doing quinoa bowls next week with chicken. Pumped for Sunday!

Been doing these chocolate protein muffins in the morning, they taste awesome, can barely tell the difference between these and the super unhealthy ones you'd get from Starbucks. Recipe:

  Pure Pumpkin, 1 Can
  4 Egg Whites
  Unsweetened Apple Sauce, 1 Cup
ON Extreme Chocolate Whey Protein Powder, 6 scoops
  Unsweetened Cocoa Powder, 1/4 Cup
Zero Calorie Sweetener of choice, 12 Packets (or 4 Tbsp)
1 Package of Sugar/Fat Free Chocolate Pudding Mix
  Baking Powder, 3 tsp
  Baking Soda, 1 tsp

Mix ingredients above into a smooth consistent batter, then add in:

Chopped Walnuts (or other nut of choice), 1/2 Cup
  Chia Seeds, 1/4 Cup

Divide into 12 muffin cups, bake at 350 for 25 minutes.

Each muffin = 145 calories, 6g fat, 8g carbs, 15g protein

Gotta get on the eat clen and tren hard diet!

I'm kidding but you should seriously give fasting a go and ditch that shitty Gatorade you drink on the way to the gym.

I workout first thing in the morning and then have a shake around 10-11ish (2 scoops banana protein plus a banan).

Then around 1 I'll go to subway (no cheese or sauce) rack up around 800-1000 cals here since I get double steak.

Then for dinner I'll have 500g of egg whites and my Oats with a splash of unsweetened almond milk. I won't mic the Oats and eat them uncooked so it's kind of like cereal in a way.

I've experimented lots over the years and my diet has gotten pretty flexible. What I put above is a "healthy" day for me these at the moment. If I know I'm not eating McDonalds or Pizza that day I'll try to stay in a bit of a deficit to make up for what will come in later days. Hell, I'll eat 4 Big Macs and 2 cheeseburgers and honestly be fine. Add in some chicken and rice meals here and there and yeah. Once you get down to a good weight it's very easy to maintain so I guess it's a little different for me. Plus I haven't had alcohol in almost a month so that allows me to play around with my diet right now a lot more as well.

With all that said, don't think I take shortcuts. I don't waste money on creatine, definitely don't take fat burners I'm on the stairmaster/stepmill every single day 20-40 minutes before my workout. Im 6 feet, sit at about 186 most of the time and am roughly 10% body fat.

Oh there's these P28 protein pancakes that you can get these days that are amazing. Use the zero calorie syrup and it's better than real pancakes and syrup imho. Fat free frozen yogurt is a life saver too!

Breakfast: I chug some orange juice, take a multi-vitamin and have espresso

Sometimes have a nut snack around 10ish at the studio (Almonds, Cashews)

Lunch: Usually eat out by the beach.  Sometimes a smoothie meal replacement, a bowl, try to avoid heavy bread

Dinner: Cook avoiding starch but if I'm pulling a late work night for a deadline, expense thai delivery

*Go to the gym 2-3 times a week + sauna cool off

If I toke after a long work day there's probably a batch of blackberries and some vino to factor in.

yep! I forgot to pick up a new pack or spearmint last night and devoured several st. patty's day sugar cookies from vons. never would've happened with the gum in my mouth.

So I did this the other night and it worked. I took out a good amount of low cal gum but I didn't snack. Thanks for the tip, going to buy a multi pack next time I'm at the store.

Some times. That would keep me busy before bed so I'm not eating. I'm worried I'll loose my will power though. I've worked out a few times late and it's hard for me to get going but once I start I'm fine.
