Which scenario makes more sense? Seriously? Why would the Cowboys bail out a division team who just traded their QB and is almost guaranteed to regress, for a late round pick? Rappaport is a click-baiter and has been since his days as a beat writer for Bama.

Ok, Toomer, I'm just going to let you know that I am ignoring you, and don't care what your opinion is, and to not #avoidsubject  it's because in the thread about Whitworth you asked who the other options at OT would be as if there weren't any and there hasn't been 30 fuging threads about every FA OT, or about to be FA OT like the one we were taking in for the last 2 weeks on the huddle.

if you clearly don't know what you're talking about, why should I try and argue and point/counter point a argument with you? Because it's clearly pointless

And just because I am replying to this post I'll be on subject with you here. and any of the NFL rumor guys are what they are, and that's is what could happen in the NFL. they are like weather men, they can be wrong a lot and still have a job, because they are the sole authority on the subject.

my point on Rapoport being a legitame news source is because of what he does and who he works for... The NFL. Yeah you kinda have to give some attention when a guy who works for the NFL starts talking.

now like I said it doesn't have turn out to be true, but it is a legit rumor if he's saying something and that's all I've been saying.

have a good day!

Let's see here. I give multiple reasons in favor of Whitworth. You seem to disagree. That's fine. All I asked was or one example, just one, of another solid option. You reply with some 11-year d FA bust, who has no relevance at all. I ask again, you reply to another post about how much more knowledgeable you are. Fine again. Just prove it. Once again, not one name. Just rambling on about other threads. How long does it take to type one name?

And I'm the one who doesn't know what they're talking about. Sure. Go with that.

The 12 year old FA bust(wasn't really a total bust) was a reference to the last time the panthers signed someone like Whitworth, I don't know how referencing the last similar signing that happened to be a great example of the risks and rewards of going after older quality players could be relevant to the conversation(/sarcasm)

there has already been tons of discussions on here about OT's and you're asking me to name one, of the high upside crowed you have Khalil 28, Clady 31 and beachum 28 are all worth checking out.  OKung 28 would be a legitimate answer to our LT issues long term but may also cost a mint.

Its not that I don't have answers or avoiding the subject but when you have to spell things out for someone it gets annoying.

for example asking for names and options at LT when a good amount of he topics over the last 2weeks have been about nothing but the options at LT. Yet you require someone to still spell it out for you so you know they exists? Really? This is my point if you don't know what you're talking about then why am I wasting me time talking to you??

Do you really think I didn't know every LT available? I've been involved in many of those discussion. I wanted you to name the people who were better options. You wouldn't. Named a FA who was 27 when he signed with CAR. Not seeing how that is an example of signing an older player being a mistake. More a lesson on signing average and expecting it to get better. Considering every player you named is older than that. And let's see who you named. Okung is a better option you say. Seattle and Denver need LT help as bad as we do. And still sent him packing. Released after one season. Clady, Kalil are awful. And Beachum hasn't been solid since 2014. Meanwhile, Whitworth is coming off two of his best seasons. These players aren't even in Whitworths league. And don't seem to be getting better with age.

Now, you can explain why they are better options, in your mind. You want to have a contest of football knowledge, I'm all in. Anything you want. You keep acting like you have some superior knowledge. Dazzle me. Change my uninformed mind.

The Cowboys believe they have an "unspoken understanding" with Tony Romo that he won't sign with the division-rival Redskins when/if Romo is released.

"It is implied that we will work in the best way we can for the mutual interest of Tony and the Cowboys. That was just implied," said owner Jerry Jones at the Combine. Jones also confirmed NFL Network's rumor of a three-way trade sending Tony Romo to Washington is "not factual in any way." The Washington Post reported Friday the Redskins don't have any interest in Romo, anyway.

  It was a nice fairytale.

As opposed to the Skins, Jets, Browns, 9ers?

I'd argue all those teams have a better o-line than the Broncos. The Broncos are reliant on a center with knee surgeries, and the worst RT and terrible OGs and tackles period. Makes us look like a HoF line in comparison.

And is the only weakest point on the team that they can fix through FA and draft. All the other teams are terrible all around.
