Panthers workout WR (Ross ran 4.22)

Recommended Posts

Private workout may just be a way get a better look at those knees. No reason not to let Cotch put him through the paces (Man it's cool saying that...I'm stoked to have Cotchery on board). I also have a lot of hope for Keyarris Garrett come OTA time.

Living in Seattle, I saw a ton of John Ross at UW.  He is my favorite WR in this class especially for what we need. Yes, he's had multiple surgeries (knee, ACL) which scare me, but man..... he actually got faster after the most recent injury prior to the '16 season... he blew a sub 4.3 40 at the spring game.

The kid is more than a 40 time though. He's explosive, has great separation, one of the most well-rounded route trees in this class and a great kid off the field. If he's there at #40 (which I doubt), I would love him as a weapon for Cam. Exactly the type of WR we need and can play multiple positions... not just the slot.

He is a first round talent that could possible fall to the second round.

When you think about it, the possible pool of players at our second pick is a lot larger than that of our first pick.  I would imagine a vast majority of our visits will be with later round guys.
