That's dumb as crap. Both are great talents.

However, we are going Jamal Adams or Solomon Thomas. Adams is my guy but I put my money on Thomas.

This is my feeling exactly. I want Adams, but I can't shake the feeling that we're going to draft a DE.

I'm assuming you're talking about Fournette? B/c he whiffs on all blocks. Also, i'm still not seeing his bench press video. It's the fact that he skipped it altogether.

Fournette is a much better blocker than Cook.  Bigger, longer, stronger which makes a big difference at the next level.  Cook will get thrown by linebackers

Where to start with how wrong your post is. Let me sum this post up in as little words as possible. Cover 3 is the norm in the NFL and a RB needs to catch as well as he runs to be successful with good defenses. Cooks quickness and route running set him apart from a guy that will get 3 yards a carry.

No. He'll get 10 1-2 yard carries or TFLs for every homerun catch or carry for more than 10 yards. He's inconsistent, lacks superior vision, has benefited from a great OL and FB, and is a product of a gimmicky offense to begin with. He's Chris Johnson but way worse in anything other than pure speed and quickness. He might have an edge on CJ in receiving, but that's it.

You don't really understand what a RB has to do in the NFL today do you? Go watch the SB and maybe we can have a discussion then.

lol I probably know more than you but w/e...

Actually, your love affair with Dalvin Cook is a perfect example of how I know more. Holler back in 4 years when he's splitting time in a backfield and being considered a bust.

I actually agree with him

People love to use the look at the NFL today. But how about we look at our Panthers today, our sceme we dont use our RBs like Atl and NE who you used as a example. Actually those 2 teams are in the top as far as RB targets in passing game. Us on the other hand with Shula we are at the bottom. Pretty sure there was a stat rolling around here where we were dead last in the NFL in RB targets in the passing game.

Meanwhile we use our RBs carrying a solid load of carries of pounding it up the middle. Thus reason you'd want the bruiser back vs a guy who is known as being able catch the ball well out of the backfield. Its about Our fit not NE's, KC's, Atls, etc who may use the RB more as all purpose guys.

The NFL today is still all over the place depending what teams you watch.

You obviously don't because you can't refute what I say. Also I'm a bigger fan of McCaffrey over both. Cook can't block and Fournette needs a system that feeds him the ball 20 or 30 times a game. We run shotgun mostly so McCaffrey is a better fit.

Lmao Fournette doesn't whiff in all blocks.

Cook is not gonna be the guy you want as a pass protector by far.

We honestly play confused. Read option was our bread and butter but it doesn't work now and Cam is taking lots of shots. We need to either make Cam comfortable in a single back set or find a back that is better suited for the gun(McCaffrey?).

So, Dalvin Cook bench pressed 22 times, and Fournette had 21.  And Fournette did nothing?  So, because of this.  We need to Draft Cook?  WOW.  This is some astute logic.

Lol I don't even want Fournette and I agree with that 100% lmao. Huddle gonna huddle

Interesting...

Dalvin Cook - RB -  Player

Florida State RB Dalvin Cook tested as ninth-percentile SPARQ athlete at the NFL Combine.

Tennessee RB Alvin Kamara had the highest SPARQ score of any back in Indy, hitting the 79th percentile. Cook was at the opposite end of the spectrum, struggling in the three-cone drill (7.27), 20-yard shuttle (4.53), vertical (30.5"), and broad jump (9'8"). He did run a solid forty (4.49). Still, it was a concerning weekend for a back considered a potential first-round pick. According to 3 Sigma Athlete's Zach Whitman, no running back who tested as a sub-10th-percentile SPARQ athlete has been drafted in the first round in the last 17 years.
