Your acting like what we say is set in stone lol. In my opinion I think Melifonwu has just secured him a 1st round pick as hes had a good combine and has the things you can't teach (speed, explosiveness) but doesn't mean he will go in the first

Just my opinion 

I could give you at least 20 names off the top of my head whom had a good combine and probably secured them a 1st round pick too. I'm not talking about your consensus 1st rounders. I'm talking 2nd to later grade guys like Obi.

Either way I hope Obi ends up in a Panthers uni after the draft lol

While he's having a great workout, can he play the game.  That what it always comes down to.  Some dudes will blow it up in shorts, but get lost in the game.  I don't know enough about him or most other defensive backs.

I get that there are so many that can go in the first round, but lots of analysts have even commented that there are 2nd round kids, with first round grades because the depth of this draft is so insane. 

Melifonwu is a ridiculously talented SAF that I want in Carolina. I honestly don't see him lasting 'til 40. He is a 6'4" heat seeking missile that thumps and has amazing range, and has now shown 4.4 speed. 

I really think we address safety in FA, but if there is any chance in the world he's there at 40, we best take him.
