Think there will be 2 TEs in the first

Howard

Engram

Engram stock has gone really up.  Crazy only 3 I believe they said WRs had faster 40 times.  And there were some quick WRs in this class.

these teams that Love those Hybrid TEs are going nuts.  NE will ensure he won't make it to round 2 even if he makes it as far to them

I could see that

Hahaha whatever you say, man. Njoku is still a beast. If 40 time were indicative of a bright future, then Ginn would be a HOF. Njoku started playing football at 17 (in his senior year) and is still a better route runner than those guys. He just started practicing for the 40 yard dash a few weeks ago.

One thing you can't slam him for is his IQ. Highest of all TEs (along with his route running) -- which explains why he's getting separation. I hope a 4.64 should drop his stock but he'll still be drafted in the first round.

If he just started practicing for the 40 a few weeks ago, then that doesn't say much for his IQ. Just saying.

No, it says a lot about yours since the 40 is the most overrated drill at the combine, especially since they run without pads and gear.

Then again, you called Worley a bust 4 games into his rookie campaign soooo....

The Combine drills haven't changed in years. Prospects know exactly what they're going to be doing. Not taking those drills seriously is flippant and would make me question a prospect's desire.

I'm done pointing out over and over again how you're wrong about me calling Worley a bust. I've provided all the links, quoted all the posts and yet you keep coming with it. You're either a troll or you're just plain dumb as fug. I used to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume troll. Now I'm leaning a lot more heavily toward simply dumb as fug.

Thomas Davis has something to say about that.

You did. Accept it. I'm not the only who caught you in the game threads. Call me whatever you want. You got busted for your crappy analysis.

Oh wow, the 40 time. Impressive I guess the vertical and broad jump don't count either... despite Njoku obliterating Howard in those drills.

  • 40 YARD DASH: 4.51 SEC
  • VERTICAL JUMP: 30.0 INCH
  • BROAD JUMP: 121.0 INCH
  •
  • 40 YARD DASH: 4.64 SEC
  • VERTICAL JUMP: 37.5 INCH
  • BROAD JUMP: 133.0 INCH
  •

Go back and find it you fuging dumbass. I've previously given you the link to the search to find every post made by me with the search items of "Worley + bust" because I know you're too goddamn dumb to figure that out for yourself. The vast majority of them are correcting you on the fact that it never happened. The oldest post matching the search terms of me specifically saying that I AM NOT CALLING WORLEY A BUST. Hell, actually the majority of the posts on this board about Worley are you getting in spats with anyone who doesn't think the guy is a sure fire future HOFer.

Stop trying to put words in my mouth when you can't back it up. You continue to say something does not make it factual.

We didn't have the personal to do that. Its was shown last year we couldn't do it either. Shula also campaigned for another pass catching TE last year so he could take advantage of what was happening. McCaffrey is a dual threat back that can attack the spaces left by cover 3. Not to get too detailed but that's what cover 3 does is forces teams to throw long passes and out routes. Unless you can use a back or slot guy to attack the middle gaps it leaves.

So i guess i was right and only 1 time in his career has he had a top 15 offense...

Since you choose not to answer the question..

What has he said? I honestly don't know.

My point here is that it's basically a job interview. If you're not going to try to maximize your performance, it's a bit of a concern. Don't think the 40 is important? Then just opt out of it.

But in reality, this is just PF doing what PF does. The guy constantly derails threads with his passive aggressive bullshit anytime anyone doesn't think his favorite players/prospects are completely flawless.

@LinvilleGorge Another example is Kelvin Benjamin.

In fact, I'll source the article as to the fact he didn't try:

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000419639/article/kelvin-benjamin-slow-40-helped-me-fall-to-panthers

Quote

To hear the Panthers rookie tell it, the slow time was no accident.

"Because I wanted to play for the Carolina Panthers," Benjamin said this week, via ESPN.com's David Newton.

Benjamin added that he had been clocked as high as a 4.41, which would have ranked fifth among 2014 wide-receiver prospects.

It's too bad he got swelling in his knee after the first two games and limited throughout this year until the last 2 games, but this shows you don't need to win the underwear olympics all the time.

You did. I don't care how you put it. You called him a bust, 'not a starter', 'not the guy', 'looks too lost', etc. I don't give a fug. He was a rookie and you made hyperbolic statements. Own up to them.

He absolutely did look lost early on. Unless you were blind or had your vision obscured by the guy's nutsack like you did, it was plainly obvious to see. I absolutely DID say he looked lost out there.

That is absolutely NOT saying that he's a bust. I clarified that for you immediately, yet here you are months later throwing this bullshit out again. Your interpretation of my comments was incorrect, the comments were clarified and yet you stick with your original interpretation and continue to to try to claim that I called Worley a bust when it in fact never happened. Continually doing that doesn't just make you a dumbass, it makes you a disrespectful asshole. And yes, I'm fully aware of the irony of calling you that when I'm acting this way toward you, I just decided to stop with any civility or respect for you after about the 4th or 5th time you tried to put incorrect words in my mouth and were corrected each time.  This is no longer about us agreeing or disagreeing on football related matters. That's cool. That happens here all the time. This is about you blatantly making poo up.

So, basically what I'm saying is go fug yourself.
