Free agent LT Andrew Whitworth is expected to test the open market.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reported Wednesday that Whitworth was expected to remain in Cincinnati, but the team evidently wants the market to establish the 35-year-old tackle's value. Despite his age, Whitworth remained well above average in 2016. He's missed only two games since 2008.

I would try to go after Riley Reiff first, assuming he hits the open market.

Whitworth is the perfect 2 year stop-gap LT while we attempt to groom a long term solution. 

He is the best FA LT available and comes in and improves our offense from day 1.
