really liked meeks' schemes

i think with a healthy defense, we could be on to something. we just need to get our secondary to learn how to tackle and get all of our starters back.

but, our offense just plain sucks. davidson abandons the run when we're down by just 3 points. 4 straight 3 and outs to start the second half can wear down even a healthy defense.

giving fox and delhomme a slight break tonight, i think davidson was our weakest link in this game.

that being said, we are going nowhere with jake. too bad we traded our first round pick. with a 5-11 season, which i think we will end up with, our pick would have netted us a franchise quarterback in the next draft. instead, we get jake for 4 more years! :frown5:

the defense actually played with some attitude, especially in the first half, but they didn't tackle worth poo.

Yeah we missed a lot of takles and gave up too many yrds on the ground. But considering how long our offense kept them on the field, the did good. Our O sucks this year, whats up wit that.

yeah, i was dissappointed with what i saw in preseason. but this is the first game that i really liked the blitz packages. finally! peppers just has to play better than this sorry effort he gave tonight. 11 players with the fire of beason and we'd be hell on defense.

i'm sold on meeks! hell, make him head coach!
