Bro....this isn't about blaming Newton. This is about blaming coaches who don't seem to be able to be tough with their mega star when they need to be. This is why they're "yes men". Seems to be some implications that they're doing a bad job stepping up to him and coaching him up.

Well, if you want to be brutally honest, the whole yes man thing starts at the top with our franchise. We couldn't even draft Newton without him first agreeing to not get tattoos or cornrows.

Again, dimwit, why would Gettleman fire them? He gave that responsibility to Ron. Therefore, Ron will be held ultimately responsible if Shula/Dorsey underwhelm. Dave was never gonna fire Rivera a season removed after winning Coach of the Year and a trip to the Super Bowl... but Rivera is now sticking his neck out for Shula and Dorsey.

Ah yes, the good ol' free pass because we made it (not won) to a SB.

Again, changes needed to be made this offseason and they weren't. We're just simply wasting time as a franchise now.

This is on everyone including Gettleman, misses sheep.

Hm. While I'm pleased to hear we are looking to improve the tackle position, I 100% believe that Remmers is top quality depth and should be brought back in a backup role.

Yea the problem is he started the last 2 years so he and his agent are not going to accept backup money

Changes will be made this offseason if they fail (which will include Ron). Hey, if you want a dysfunctional team, go fugging cheer for the 49ers or Redskins. Gettleman won't be firing people left and right.

And yes, it is a free pass. You think Quinn will get fired if Atlanta goes 1-15 next season? Lol, no.

The 49ers organization has 5 Super Bowls. The Redskins have 3.

We have 6 winning seasons out of 22 and in case you haven't heard, a big whopping zero Super Bowls.

I can't understand why so many of you blindly buy into whatever this organization does move wise or put them on some kind of pedastool. You'd think some of you would get tired of wasting away seasons but it seems to be the exact opposite

The guy you're quoting is the worst one on here.  He LITERALLY buys into everything with this organization.  At this point, it's quite annoying.

And neither has won a SB in 23 years, and with different owners. Ever since both franchises started cycling through coaches, they have sucked(outside of Harbaugh). But he didn't win a SB so he sucked too. I want to know the ready made replacements you have lined up that would put the current staff to shame. They blow it this year, they are gone. They don't, we all happy.

The pro Gettleman crowd is always so quick to either use the hindsight card or the "well then name your replacements" (which I've done a billion times).

If you have been following this thread at all there's some "legit concerns" about the type of "coaches" Dorsey and Shula are and how they manage our franchise leader.

If this stuff is true, they should be replaced immediately by just about anyone who is capable of being a coach, not a friend.

And the bolded part... Again, we don't need another year to find out. Shula and Dorsey seem like they've gone to far down the "yes" man road and aren't capable of coming back as respected coaches.

And you know there is absolutely no chance they are being replaced now. So what's the point. You made your case, let's see how it plays out. Many people, including myself wanted them gone before 2015. I'd say they proved me wrong. You can dismiss 15-1 and a #1 offense, but it happened and you don't fire people after that. Or one year after that. Just saying it over and over and over is supposed to accomplish what.

Voth doesn't typically do the speculating thing so I'm thinking there's so truth to this one.

The bolded part I couldn't agree more with. Which is a legit concern as well after resigning Mario, Horton and openly saying they want to bring CJ back as well

Is he saying it's a concern that they are still here or that fans view them as cams yes men?
