I like Jefferson, always have but we can get a lot better value by signing the other Arizona safety

 Yes. Swearinger will be much cheaper, can play either spot, and gives you the flexibility to draft the best available safety, if it is good value instead of needing a starter going in.

As a Gamecock fan, Id rather us go after Swearinger because hes a good player and Jefferson will be much more expensive with Eric Berry off the board.

yes please. for the right price. Id take Jefferson over Swearinger.  Swearinger is under-sized LB with limitations in coverage. Jefferson is a little more well rounded.

Jefferson is going to benefit from Berry's signing, and be the most expensive SAF available. I'd like Jefferson, but there are 4 or 5 others that should pair nicely with Coleman.  There's also the draft, but I do think we nab our future safety in FA. Whether it's Swearinger, Jefferson, Hyde, Cyprien, Harmon, Church, or someone else, I think our opportunities in FA are there for the taking.
