He tore his ACL man. These things take  a year or two. This is just like the Crabtree thing, people thought he was done because he looked slow the year he came back from tearing his achillies. He then had a nice year in Oakland the year after.

With serious injuries like that or an ACL you can't expect anyone to come back at 100% that first season back. This is why I can't believe all the hate Benji got this year. First year back from an ACL tear and basically put up 1000 yards in his 2nd season.

We have people here who'll go to war for a guy like Funchess but b*tch about Kelvin, its mind blowing

He got the hate because he was constantly making penalties, running half assed routes, and making dumbass decisions. The only one of those I can blame on injury is route running, but his torn ACL didn't make him hold every play that was ran to the opposite end of the field he was on.

Disappointment was completely warranted in him this year.

Funchess, I think the hate was a bit much, but not Benjamin.

Gettleman also made it clear he still wants to bring back Charles Johnson and Ted Ginn, despite other moves or interest in outside guys.

I hope this is just kindly smoke because if the primary focus of this offseason is to bring back every single coach and player who contributed to last year's smoldering dumpster fire then y'all better grab onto your butts.

He doesn't make those decisions, Einstein.

Let Rivera hang himself.

Then Gettleman should've sent all 3 idiots packing. All 3 of those coaches are holding this franchise back and especially holding Cam back.

This isnt rocket science.

Actually nvm, apparently to some it is.

No it's not. He said it a few times in the aftermath of the Cam super bowl press conference.

I have no problem with Dorsey staying, the haters that want him gone want nothing more then a scapegoat, and honestly thats just being an uniformed fan. About Shula though he has never been popular here, and I still would like for us to replace him with someone like Norv Turner(who may be semi-retired since he hasnt taken a job yet). But there were a lot of apology threads in 2015 about him though. and Like it or not, youre not going to fire a OC that had your team as the top ranked offense from the year before when you have serious personnel issues (cough) offensive line(cough) on the Offense.  Reactionary firings while sounding good to the Fans are actually terrible in reality, especially if you can point to direct personnel(our o-line this year) or management issues(see saints firing assistant coaches when real issue is the cap hell theyre in for why they have been bad for a while)

And whether people realize it or not, but there isnt a better Coach then RR out there right now, and it's not even close, RR would be available for all of 5 minutes if he hit the market. sorry for the haters but that is the truth. If John Fox can get hired in a minute after leaving Carolina, RR will in under 30 seconds.
