Just go and retire, Oher.  It's not worth trying to come back from something like that if you still can't pass the concussion protocol after what, 5 months?

Hate it happened to him, but he's playing with fire coming back from something like that.  Sucks it happened for all parties.  Dude was actually pretty solid at LT for us and a HUGE upgrade from what we've had there ever since Gross retired.

Agreed. Oher needs to focus on health and life after football.  This is the longest ive ever seen a concussion last.

I like hearing this. He certainly didn't look it. Though, he did start the season with back to back 108 and 91 yard games. I wish they would've pressed him on exactly what the issue was with him not being 100%.

Actually, it's probably not about game recovery, but more access to NFL team doctors.  I'm not sure about the retirement health insurance, but I'm willing to bet you get much better care as a player than a former player.

I'm 99% sure the hit was the knee to the head on the safety against the Vikings. If you go back and watch, he gets walloped really hard and then the rest of the game was a total disaster for him.

He tore his ACL man. These things take  a year or two. This is just like the Crabtree thing, people thought he was done because he looked slow the year he came back from tearing his achillies. He then had a nice year in Oakland the year after.

With serious injuries like that or an ACL you can't expect anyone to come back at 100% that first season back. This is why I can't believe all the hate Benji got this year. First year back from an ACL tear and basically put up 1000 yards in his 2nd season.

We have people here who'll go to war for a guy like Funchess but b*tch about Kelvin, its mind blowing
