Best FA Move So Far

poo, I'd love if we re-signed Remmers. We need tackle depth something fierce and he has experience on either side.

I don't necessarily want him starting, but a dude with his kind of experience is invaluable. People around here act like he was Byron Bell levels of bad, and that just wasn't the case. He was an average at best RT and a below average LT. Bell was below average at best at RT and the worst in the league at LT.

I'd welcome Remmers back with open arms if it were a backup contract.

I agree with you assessment, he was put between rock and hard place just doesn't have the talent to compete against stiffer competition.

He will be a great depth player.

On top of the fact that he's also depth at center.

Most huddlers are wrong about KB, remmers, gano, and stew.

Pointless to state remmers is a good OLmen. Or they are like 24-6 with him starting at RT. Misinformed huddler -" Nope don't care, He sucks !!!!!!!!"......

If we won that Super Bowl, people wouldn't give a poo if Remmers was our right tackle.

Flashbulb memories of strip sacks stick with a man.

I agree he is a average starter, and like most average starters, can run into mismatches (his being speed rushers).

I like Remmers and we need the depth!! People are too quick to lash out at him and blame him.  I think Oher is more of a problem, because of injuries.  Remmers at RT is fine guys!

What you drinking or smoking on? I need some of that.

    • Horrible argument in comparison to the potential Edge Rusher picks who have exactly 0 high level successful years statistically. Looking at you Walker, Williams, and Shemar. That said all on the table I probably go Walker over Warren, but the paper don’t look so good.. 🤷‍♂️
    • I think it’s this pick 5-15ish stretch that the tough spot. There’s just no high end first rounders you typically see at our spot.  There’s a few blue chippers and then the rest are mid to late firsts at best.  It’s also why I don’t expect a trade down, but one can dream. But it won’t be much capital gained in this draft.
    • Is he worth it? Maybe. I know the team is seriously interested in him or they wouldn't have met with him 3 times. He's the best safety in this draft and 1 of only 2 safties that are day 1 worthy picks.  The way I see it is that the team has the option of taking a player at a position that is a huge value to draft. That's edge, tackle, qb or wide receiver. Ask yourself who in this class of day 1 picks could benefit the Panthers the most to draft. Now look at the visits and see what positions they have put the most time in day 1 players. Two things stand out to me. They are focusing on defense and it's OLB and a safety. I think it comes down to 3 players and they are Walker, Stewart and Emmanwori. Everyone else is smoke and mirrors.
