Williams graded worse than Remmers this past season. And the fact that Oher hasn't passed the protocol, I wouldn't be happy at all. Like as has been noted by most, including Gettleman, the OT class is "weak" this year. We need to address the position some kind of way in FA. We have to add competitive depth at the very least.

That's something I highly disagree with PFF over there. I'd look at the competition Remmers faced VS what Williams faced, and you'll see an uptick in skill level.

Williams shut down the league sack leader 2 games in a row, and kept most other dangerous speed rushers at bay. Him and Trai look amazing at the right side, and watching film shows that.

Matt Kalil imo would be great LT depth/potential, but a healthy Oher will win out the job.

Williams played well, and got better each game. 

It's time to either let him run, or go back to Remmers. 

Oher was on IR,  and finished the season that way. Not sure why you'd expect to hear anything of concret value that he cleared or not. Not sure why it would even be done. 

Pretty sure he's alright by now, and well know more when the team is forced to share the information. 

There isn't a FA available that I'd take over Oher. Still believe we have to add a vet FA, but I doubt they'd  beat out Oher.

Tackles still scare the hell out of me. I know that there's not much out there to chose from but damn, that's scary.

I'd feel fairly good about that...

Although, instead of Church ... Swearinger seems more likely. Cyprien would be ideal but will probably cost too much. 

WR .. Having a weird feeling we will move on from Ginn just to bring in Patterson. OR Gman will bring in both Ginn and Patterson. I could also see Bryd n Cruz fighting it out. 

TE... Mykel Rivera (however you spell it). Dude balled out in Oakland and actually made a few good plays against us...I came away impressed. This signing screams Gettleman. 

Fb... We aren't getting Kyle but this position will be addressed. Wouldn't be suprised if that guy we signed from the Redskins wins the job. 

LT: I don't think Matt gets away from the Vikings and if he does I would think he'd want to get out of Ryan's shadow. However, we will pick up somebody for no more than 9 per ...Withworth or Wagner. One of the W's.

We will disagree on Williams. As for Oher, he is going to have to pass the protocol. Concussions are serious business in and out of season. I don't know how you just assume that he is alright at this point even though he was out for nearly an entire season. Even if he is alright now (which I am not going to assume that he is), he wasn't for going on at least four months---from week two until the offseason report that he was still in the protocol---and in my mind that's highly problematic. Gettleman seems to feel the same.

I don't know why he'd would need to be cleared by the league once he was on IR. It's not like we have a game to prepare for, or even practice . 

So until then we truly don't know. All we know is he finished the regular season in the protocol.

lol pretty much all of those FAs you listed will be overpaid by some desperate team. We all know Gettleman isn't going to overpay for anyone. No matter who it is. So this is incredibly unrealistic and will never happen

Maybe 5 years ago they would....the folks he mentioned are very realistic for us at this point in their career...

Lol what are you talking abou. Kalil, Peppers, Munnerlyn, and Cruz have all been linked to the Panthers. So no clue what you are talking about completely unrealistic.

Seems plausible.  I don't really envision any big splashes but some mid tier type of guys I could see happening. 

I'll be curious what we do with Ginn.  Our offense seems to need a speed guy.  If we don't resign him, not sure where that comes from.  I see Cruz being more of a possession type of guy at this point in his career.

I'm not a big fan of spending money in free agency on a fullback.  Everyone around her seems infatuated with them at the moment, but the fact is a lot of teams don't even use them, and those that do, don't that often.  We could probably get a top 3 fullback prospect in the draft with a 7th round pick.
