...be in the UFC in 1 or 2 years.

Yeah.

According to a TMZ report, Antonio Silva reportedly says Greg Hardy should make it in the UFC real soon with the way training is going. While Hardy has recently been known for his career implosion beginning with being accused of domestic violence and issues with drugs, he has apparently been training for a new career route with the UFC.

We asked "Bigfoot" Silva -- once one of the best UFC heavyweights -- about the prospects of his sparring partner making it at MMA's highest level ... the UFC.

Silva says don't be surprised if Hardy's fighting inside the Octagon within a year or two.

So, add "he's becoming a UFC fighter" to the list of the endless reasons of why we're not signing Greg Hardy.

Heard Jay Glazer on sports radio a few months back, said he was going to do everything in his power to prevent Hardy from getting into MMA. He'd talk to every trainer, gym, promoter, etc to keep Hardy away from the ring, said the sport does not need the kind of person Greg is...

Have a feeling he'll do somewhat well there. If he's as nuts in UFC as he was on the field going after Matty and Drew... And there have never been questions about his work ethic. But nonetheless, we're done with him and he really shouldn't even be brought up here any more.

That's a bitch ass move and I hope Jay Glazer gets his bald ass head knocked for being such a punk ass bitch.

    • Karlaftis and Danna have been pretty inconsistent so teams have been doubling Jones and able to contain their pass rush.   But the good thing is that yesterday, we schemed well against Steve Spags Defense, Canales married the surrounding personnel with his QB through play designs within his comfort zone and was able to get downfield at will.  He was able to execute higher difficulty throws and look a lot more comfortable.  It tells me that Canales has a good system in mind, and had an edge gameplanning wise against Spagnuolo - which is nice to see.  It's a bit to see-saw at times with either going way too pass heavy or way too run heavy, but I think he's finding out what works.  It takes time to have it come together, and sure, I could see regression happen against a better front-7, but this was good for the entire system gelling.
    • This was evident first two weeks of season. I don’t see any issues with physical tools since he came back. I think he is a player that must play with confidence to overcome those size limitations and he’s doing that.
    • Still 3-10 on passes over 15 yards.  At least he's not scared to merely attempt them anymore.  Where I see improvement is the 10-15 yard range.  He was 6-6.  Bryce of old was scatter shot on anything beyond 10 yards and the further out, the worse the accuracy.
