Look at his contract and what he was about to be due. We would've been the ones cutting him this year if he had the same performance he had with the Broncos.

I was all for the tag and then let Josh walk after the season given his age. However, if I would've known we were just going to use that money on bums like Addison and CJ, I would've been all for a long term deal with Josh instead.

It made plenty of sense. Remmers' asshole was torn up by Von Miller in the SB. Oher would've been moved to RT with Okung at Left. Instead we signed Remmers.

Smart teams retain their assets and cut losses with valued, team leaders when their production no longer warrants anything more than a vet min.  By and large, we do the opposite.

I love CJ, he has been and will continue to be a great ambassador for our organization, but he should've been allowed to go elsewhere.  Norman should have been retained.  KK is going to walk for nothing.  And the the only signing I struggle with criticizing is Addison...  all the others suck.  You don't improve by keeping the same guys at positions of weakness from a 6-win team while sitting on your hands as all the potential upgrades are signed elsewhere.  #SSDD

BTW, Gettleman take notes. The Rams are actually fielding trade offers for franchised CB Trumaine Johnson. Instead of, you know, rescinding the tag!
