I recommend you try looking into the NFL reddit's free agency section. Good place without the excessive commentary to get up to the minute information.

I do have sources for the FA news, but do like to read the Huddle's reaction especially in terms of how various transactions could affect the Panthers.  (For instance, I'd not have thought about the fact that Jags signing Church could mean that Fournette gets snagged higher in round 1...)

I wasn't actually serious in my proposal to lock the thread and limit it only to moderators, but it is frustrating to find just a lot of general bitching in this thread instead of specific news and reactions to it.  .Hopefully we'll sign some decent FA tomorrow and things here will calm down.  Otherwise life here could be pretty miserable!  :-)

Other teams aren't having any trouble getting free agents locked up...but you know, GETTLEMAN got this!!! Right???

Damn you keep missing he point.  We can't sign anyone today.  We couldn't sign anyone yesterday.  And we can't sign anyone tomorrow until 4:00pm.  Free agency hasn't fugging started yet.  

For all you know we could be in negotiations with Swearinger, Cyprian, Jackson, Reiff, Kalil, etc.  there are hundreds of free agents available tomorrow at 4.  Only a few have agreed in principle (not signed) with other teams.

See, that's the problem. We can't sign anyone. Not until tomorrow. We as fans have no clue who the FO has, or hasn't, talked to yet. It is premature to go bonkers before the actual event.

 

You are setting your self up for that "I told you so" moment. Instead of being excited for "What is to come". You are already mad, and nothing has happened yet. I just don't see the purpose behind being mad about future events?

Teams have to sign those role players. It is one of those unattractive must do's. I mean, we didn't spend much money, and we have a few less holes than we did a few days ago.

 

It lets your players know you still want their services. Players like knowing they are wanted. It is a small price to pay to keep your team happy, and together.
