He won't and he would be an idiot to do so. He'd lose pretty much all the leverage he has(which is barely anything to begin with) to get a better a deal.

Worse case scenario, we get one of the top DT's in the league, who's playing like a mad man to earn a big payday, on a 1 year, reasonable rental.

Good. I'd prefer long term deal, but I'll take having him for atleast this year. Let Butler get another year of development under his belt. Won't celebrate until KK signs it, though. Still time for Dave to make a foolish move
