OJ Simpson Could Be Released From Prison, Collect NFL Retirement Money

If you took every player the was an HOFer out of the hall because of legal issues.  The Hall would be half the size it is now.

I don't know if any of you remember the whole issue with him getting arrested.  I wish he wasn't armed.   He was going after stolen memorabilia that belonged to him.  I also thought 33 yrs was a bit steep but than again it was Nevada.   I always thought that they used this conviction to offset his acquittal in the Nicole Simpson Brown ordeal. Justice was served and now I hope they let him out and hopefully he will live the remainder of his life out of trouble.

He may not be the sharpest tool in the shed but what an amazing back.  I remember watching him break 2000 yds. Just like watching the original GOAT Johnny Unitas.  Would have loved to see Unitas play in this era.  The man was a walking offensive coordinator.

Didn't he rob the guy with a gun in a hotel that was connected to a casino? I'm sure having a weapon in a casino and armed robbery would have something to do with the 30 year sentence

Good Point...Should have brought as many thugs as he could have and beat the crap out of them.   He contended during the whole thing he was after what belonged to him in the first place.

Didn't he sell it off for money?

If he was solely after just his things, why did he steal the baseball memorabilia from the guy? Are you really defending OJ for armed robbery in a casino over crap he owned 30 years ago?

The armed robbery was stupid but going after what belonged to him wasn't. He got what he deserved for bringing a weapon into it.

The problem with your fan-boy defense, sparky, is he didn't just take "his stuff".

My name isn't sparky and I wasn't defending him so watch your mouth boy.

I know what he did.  What sparked the whole event was HIS STUFF.

He did the crime so he has to do the time.  I was saying he should have gone about it a different way and maybe got his poo back and stayed out of jail.
