1. Garrett

2/3/4. Fournette/Thomas/Barnett - I know a lot of folks want safeties, but I think a better running game/pass rush would have a bigger impact and there's a lot of depth at S in draft/FA. I can't decide among these 3 though until the combine.

5. Adams

6. Hooker - Not being able to work out makes me notch him lower.

7. Allen - Combine is key here for him to find out if he's a DE.

8. Lattimore - I think I'd rather have him than Howard because I think there's going to be a TE like Leggett available at 72.

Yes I'm doing some foreshadowing and wanted to post this before combine.

I think Thomas is going to have a great combine, so trying to be ahead he's #2.

DB group is in play for me. The Humphrey kid I fell can be the best CB in the deep group, he's being super slept on. After Worley and bradberry, panthers have NOTHING.

I am really starting to warm up to McDowell at 8 too depending on combine/pro day and who's available.

I believe OJ will have a great combine along with Thomas. OJ maybe the best overall TE in some time, I know of his light numbers too.

I have not done any research on McDowell, just know he's a DT form MSU. I know him vs Allen, is one of the many to keep a eye on. I believe Allen can play DE, Prefered RDE. McDowell may have similar results.

The draft is sporting perfection to me, without question my favorite sporting event.  Top 8?  Garrett, Fornette, Adams, Hooker, McDowell, Allen, Thomas, Davis.

I think McDowell is going to end up being the guy people passed on.  He can come out next year and be a factor for us at DE from Day 1.  SMH on him, he is underrated as hell.  And yes, he can be a 4-3 complete end IMO.

I want DE first so:

1 Barnett-Bizarrely underated . Very young, great production over 3 years.

or

2 Thomas-For me, over-rated but @ #8 still a good fit for Panthers.

Otherwise I would be wanting best at position :

3 Adams-Don't think he will be there or makes sense with the safety FA's available.Fantastic looking player though.

4 OJ Howard-Too high but like OT would take pressure off Cam.

5 Fournette-Could be a legend. Could be a bust. I would only draft him if I know Stewart will be cut. Seeing that most of his epic games were against weak college teams I'm going off him fast.

6 Ramzyck-Yes too high. Also a boom bust candidate.

These guys are also nice but arguably not at positions of need:

7 C Davis-Hard to justify ahead of positions of need, but could be an impact weapon for Cam.

8 Lattimore-Best CB? Not a terrible idea if DE, Safety and top RB gone.

I've got my favorite four and I'm sure that will change

1. Garrett

2. Hooker (I'm honestly really hoping he's the pick right now, just feel like he could change our defense for a decade.)

3. Adams

4. Fournette

I haven't watched/read enough about Barnett and Thomas enough to get a good idea of where they fall on this list, and Allen's shoulder/positional question is starting to scare me.

I also love OJ Howard or Corey Davis in a trade down scenario.

1. Garrett-obvious

2. Fournette- my favorite player and would make the biggest impact on the team overall than anyone else. Our power run games runs the offense extends drives for our D to rest etc

3. Jamal Adams- SS big need

4. Thomas- kid is a bully and has the athletic ability and bend to strike major fear upon offenses.

5. Hooker- Coleman needs to be brought back to safety but Hooker is a special talent that can help a D

6. OJ Howard- overall well rounded talented TE

7. Sydney Jones- like this kid as the top Corner in the draft. You watch his film he looks just like another kid from UW whose with the chiefs. Has the height length and skills to be great. Lattimore may have a little better speed but Jones is a gamer that QBs tried hard to avoid all together.

8. Ross
