Okung's overrated. Nothing special about him right now. He didn't really improve the Bronco's O-line, and that right there should raise some red flags.

Then again, they did have the worst RT of the 2016 season.

When your QB sucks not much you can do. Denver's problems are more than players on the line.

Siemian has potential. Only reason he didn't get sacked to a terrible rate was because of his mobility.

I can assure you every Bronco fan knows their line sucks, and should be first priority. Their RT was PFF's worst RT by a longshot, and their center is the only one who had a decent grade.

When you are let go by two teams (Seattle, Denver) with terrible lines it doesn't instill much confidence in him being an upgrade.

Seattle's philosophy doesn't involve investing in OL period, and, like Denver, doesn't have near the rosy cap situation we do.  Representing himself, his deal was really only a one year deal with a lot of smoke and mirrors and his option wasn't favorable to the Broncos going forward (similar to the Jags with Beachem).  He should not be option #1, but he should be firmly entrenched on the list of options.  He's still only 29/30 and has played in many big time football games.

    • I won’t say it destroyed us because we could have taken Stroud and just made better picks like not DJ Johnson and Matt Corral and Mingo and so on as well. It just put us in a position to trade up and make the wrong choice. Young could be OK and we could eventually win but it still set us back a lot because we spent so much and he doesn’t look like a stud. It does suck to look at the picks we gave up and the selections we made and see obvious choices that were thrown out in the draft threads: Young over Stroud Humphrey over TMJ Frazier over Cooks Downs/Dell over Mingo Cross over Iky (for pass blocking prowess) De’Von Achane over DJ Johnson - Actually looking back at the 10 players picked right behind DJ, you will see a bunch of contributing starters. Crazy how bad we are at drafting.
    • Whats the point of that then?  You waste a year on his deal and he is in no way shape or form some generational talent.  I mean there are 4 dudes coming out this year better then him.  trading up for an already injured RB has to be the dumbest thing I can thing of in recent memory outside of not trading Burns and not picking cj.   But hey we really should the cowboys a thing or two
