I didn't name remmers. You did. Whether you agree with DG about him or not, is a moot point.

I also love that your second paragraph describes your posts, perfectly!

I see you're still failing to actually add anything to the conversation. Continue to dismiss others to make yourself feel better if you like, but it's intellectually lazy to dismiss others while making no attempt to offer any thoughts of your own.

Your posts are basically wordy versions of, "No, you're wrong."

I would disagree with anyone who classified Remmers as an above average RT. He's serviceable against the right match ups, but whenever he faces off against anyone with speed, he's a huge liability. I can't classify anyone with such a glaring weakness as above average, especially when he's not particularly great at anything. IMO, his best asset is his versatility and that's best utilized in a backup role. I'd love to keep him as a versatile backup.I nk

I know a lot of people don't like PFF but unless someone has took the time to watch every game of every tackle its probably the best we have.

In 2015 he was ranked 32 out of 67 tackles.  Here again people are judging guys in a vacuum instead of relative to other players of their position.

I'm not a huge fan of PFF. I agree that they're a resource, but I don't view them as the end all be all like a lot of people do.

But, if our end goal is to have a guy who's one spot better than Byron Bell... yikes.

I guess I do agree with PFF there though. I've always claimed that Remmers isn't much if any better than Bell was.

Nothing against Remmers but he should just not be on the team next year. I'll take another sometimes average swing tackle.

He'd be a good versatile backup. I just don't want to bring him back if it means not properly addressing the OT position. We have had far too much marginal to poor OT play since Gross retired.

Agreed.  RT or LT...I just want us to bring in a proven guy at least at one of the two spots at the least this offseason.

Ricky Wagner is my top choice--he would be an add where we get a solid starting RT in his mid 20s on a long term contract.

On the left, Bradley Sowell would be a good one to go after that we wouldn't have to break the bank for.

OMG no.  Sowell is awful.
