It feels like people have only been watching the Panthers for a few years.

Cam flourished in an offense with two capable TE's.   Bennett can also block.    

But I'm not even saying we SHOULD sign him, but it's silly that people are dismissing him like he's Dickson skill level.

Yes, cam did flourish in an offense with two TEs. But that wasn't under Shula.  Not sure what's so hard about this.

Well, I just did, so, I did come at you with it.

Different OC but basically same offense with less (hopefully at least) option.   Shula even asked for another TE to fill the mold before last offseason.

We finally have a solid amount of cap space and have much greater needs than a second tight end..  I just don't see the point in dumping money into someone that is going to demand quite a bit of it and won't even be used correctly here because of our OC

Ya know, I peripherally look at the off season. The Panthers are are gonna do what the Panthers are gonna do, no matter what I think about that draftie or this FA. They become a Panther? They're a Panther.
