It's not that he's just a jackass, but that a case could be made that he's not right in the head. Smith could be a jackass, but the man was sane, if mean. This guy, and his brother, aren't wired correctly and are constantly flirting with shorting out.

He can go and almost be a star for some other team. Our coaching staff doesn't need the headaches.

To be fair, he had 916 yards with Jay Cutler and six TDS one year.  Year before, he had 759 yards and 5 TDs.  Both with Jay Cutler.  That's impressive, regardless.

Bennett had good seasons before NE, specifically on the TERRIBLE Bears where it's hard for anyone to do well.    He was good in Dallas as well but had to play 2nd fiddle to Witten so his numbers aren't crazy high but he had three solid seasons in CHI.
