Mike 'Cook Out Tray' Tolbert.  He gained more nicknames than any Panther in history during his time in Charlotte, yet seemed to relish and enjoy all of it.  He will be well remembered.

Here is an interesting  article on Panthers.com that was posted a few hours ago. What is interesting about it is the revelation that the organization was thinking of replacing Mike Tolbert last offseason.

"The Panthers called me last year during free agency – the first day of free agency – and said they had some interest but that they had Tolbert, who they really, really liked," Young said. "I never heard back from them, but in October I worked out for them during the bye week. I felt good coming out of that, felt good leaving that day.

I think Tolbert was just to damn big, he should have lost like 25 pounds years ago. when his ablity started to go he need to drop weight to try to make up that gap.
