I think one could argue that Philly Brown was the best wide receiver of that year's playoffs. Definitely the best for us. He was lighting up Talib in the SB before getting hurt. And if he doesn't get hurt it's entirely possible we could've made that a closer game in the end. Nobody else could get any separation against Denver, and maybe if Philly is on the field Cam is targeting him instead of Ginn on the interception that went off of Ginn's hands.

.Look at our lineup.  How many times did we have Philly and Ginn on the field at the same time.  Not too often.  If we ran these guys out there numerous times.  I would agree but I don't think the overall lineup has more than one speedster.   Also Funchess wasn't clock as a turtle.  I thought one of his attributes coming out of College was he had good speed for a big receiver.

He is an RFA right now so he isn't really under contract.  If you see any thread it will probably be that he has been signed to a deal.
