Victor Cruz visited Carolina this Weekend

31 years old in November of 2017. Missed the 2010 and 2015 season due to season-ending injury (hamstring, knee).  Hasn't gained his burst and speed back yet. He put up a paltry 39-586-1TD last year with a gun slinging Eli Manning and most of the focus on OBJ.

I will say that it usually takes two years to fully recover, so he could come in and replace Ginn on a cheaper deal, IMO.  I def don't want him if we bring Ginn back. For me, it's one or the other for 'veteran, over 30 year old complimentary' WR.

I'd kick the tires, but, IMO, we need a DJax, Kenny Stills, Cordarelle kind of speedster more than Cruz.

Victor Cruz of several years ago?  Sure?  The washed up over 30 version?  I don't think so.  What does he add at this point?  I'm not sure we need a true veteran presence at this point.  Most of our guys have a few years under their belts.

I think the most important thing here is that carolina is already bringing guys in for visits.  its not even march yet.  This seems pretty early imo for carolina.  They obviously want to dip into free agency early instead of letting the market settle as they have done in years past.

I think that he would be a good addition to us.   Ginn has time with Cam and knows the system.  It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

I will say I think Ted did a much better job catching the ball in 2016 than any previous year.  Don't know the stats but it appeared that way.

I believe because Cam probably threw more eractic and some were not his fault but the ones on target yea he missed a few..he just does not have the hands.

Unless we are bringing in a guy like Djax we don't need them. Hell both Philly and Bersin can catch we need someone who forces teams to adjust.
