Some of you are crazy. Stills hands are even worse than Ginns. I understand it if he is cheap but if he is thinking 10 mill per he's fuging high.

   He shouldn't get that much. But he will be close to that, if not more. And he's a deep threat with slightly better hands than Ginn. Nothing more. Not worth the money.

   Simply saying he's not worth near what he will get. Something you agreed with when you said you put his value at about half that. Want to talk 5M/yr, I'm in. More than that. Pass.

Two things:

1)Has he lost all of his speed and struggles to get open?  Otherwise, I doubt we make him an offer.

2) if we did offer, it was probably the absolute minimum and he's going to look elsewhere, where he will quickly find more than what we offered and sign there.

So, it's not going to happen.

DG actually discovered Cruz when he was with the Giants, so there's definitely a liking. With KB and Funch on the outside, I think Cruz would be a great fit. We struggled converting those 3rd and 4's and 3rd and 3's (that's where we missed Cotchery the most). I think Cruz can fill that void.

I'd love to add Cruz as a slot guy. He runs some real nice routes and has reliable hands. I'd much rather add a smart veteran to stick in the slot that Cam can trust vs sticking a rookie there who maybe be outta place every once in awhile. 

Get this done ASAP. Cross slot WR off the list and move on to the many other needs we need to address

Here's an article of a guy breaking down Cruz 20 snaps against the Steelers. Of the 20 snaps the writer concludes Cruz was open 3 times. Cruz lined up in the slot 1 out of 20 times and was open the 1 time he lined up in the slot. 

Like said above, you're not signing Cruz to be anything more than a slot receiver. I think Cruz has the hands and route running to still be an effective slot receiver.
