He'd instantly have the best hands on the team besides 88.

Good locker room guy and if he physically makes the grade I say go for it and see how it plays out in camp.  He's no more than a 3 in my opinion but he can be a really good 3.  This is all if Shula uses him properly, and that's a huge if.

Never found a replacement for Cotchery. Cruz could be it. We just need a guy with good hands and can get open.

It's one thing to be tall and slow, it's another to be 6'0" and slow. Benjamin, Olsen and Fun can use their frame to box out defenders but Cruz....what is his advantage?  I wouldn't mind though if he came and proved me wrong because he is a good guy.

Sure hands, route running, slot receiving expertise.

Basically another Cotchery.

What is low-risk about Kenny Stills?

the price. I don't for see him being that expensive, but i could be wrong.

Anytime I think a player is low risk it almost entirely based of their price, or picks or what we traded for them etc. Although I suppose character concerns should factor into it as well

I don't see near 10M/yr as a low risk. Especially for a younger version of Ginn.

I would love for Cruz to get a shot here.  He fits the mold of "keep pounding, he's been doubted and injured and now has to learn a new role in life as a possession receiver.  If he's willing to put in the time to become that senior guy, he could be the kind of player to provide inspiration to our young guys who think the world owes them everything.
