no more small school offensive lineman. I hope gman has learned by now that guys like Norwell/Turner that played against real talent > guys like Kugbila/Silatolu pancaking future car salesmen.

I wouldn't really call Troy a small school.  They have a good football program.  Went 10-3 this past year and almost beat Clemson.

Regardless, I know nothing on this OT.

I'm on the Adams wagon as well. A stalwart at the safety position who can lead and play both in the box and out of the box is the one piece that instantly upgrades this defense. Hell, I would even be good swinging our third to a team in front of us to move up to get him if necessary.

i dont mind Adams at all, I think he would be great.....but to get a guy like Leonard is what we really need.  Here is a guy that will be a staple in our offence and take a huge burden off of Cam "having" to run the ball.  I would love to get in the situation where the only time Cam runs the ball is mostly scrambles and the occasional designed run to throw people off.

Yea, I ran a mock today that went:
1. Fournette
2. Roderick Johnson
3. Leggett
3b. Smoot
4. Kpassagnon

Planned a center in the 5th.

I like Leggett too... reminds me of Jimmy... that mfer

I don't think we pick that many, tho... Trade up is in the stars

Sent from my SM-G930P using CarolinaHuddle mobile app

This mock had Leggett going to Miami at 54, which is right where we'd be if we traded #72 and #110. You're right, G-man loves to trade up for "his guys". I would be happy with 3 top 60 picks plus #99.

I think that if Fournette and Adams are on the board at #8, even though I would like to say Fournette because personally I think hes a once a decade type RB, that Gettleman will go Adams because one he believe in defense first (pretty obvious) but 2 you can probably bet more on Adams (and the safety) position being more accountable for the next 5-10 years more so than RBs.  RBs just have such a short shelf life these days and with more and more teams going with a 2 back set.  Also, this draft is deep with productive RBs.
