Jimmy Garroppolo

Tim Brady is 39 years old. If Belichick thought Garoppolo was anything special, he wouldn't be willing to trade him. The fact that he is willing to trade him tells me that Belichick knows he's nothing special and he can just draft another one.

This is definitely valid, but also: consider how QB desperate some teams are. A lot of people think BB and TB will retire at the same time. Maybe BB knows he might could get a first round pick, and with that first rounder he could find another stud to help him get another chip or two.

A Jimmy G trade in this draft could throw a big ole monkey wrench into the top 10 if that's where he goes.  Browns, 9ers, and Jets all need a QB.  Doubt Patriots will trade him to Jets, but if Browns or 9ers do trade their pick to the Pats for Jimmy, which means less QBs taken before us because Pats will most likely go with a Defensive player.. but really what would make my skin crawl is seeing the Patriots with a top 6 pick after winning yet another Super Bowl.

If Brady has decided to play another 3-5 years and Garrapallo is just gonna ride off at the end of next season with Pats getting nothing for him, you can see why BB might want to make a move.

I see the Browns at 12 doing something personally and Garrappolo will be better than Kizer or the other 3, at least early on.
