Sadly though, the NBA is just like that, most of the league knows they have no chance at taking on Warriors or Cavs.    You have to get high picks and hope you get a superstar for most.

Trading for Plumlee pretty much killed our FA chances and whatnot.   Terrible choice.

We should trade MKG for anything at this point, he gets owned by bench players.

I've got the team getting the 7th seed and beating the Raptors in round 1.  2nd round, we beat Boston 4-2.  Lose in the ECF to the Cavs 4-3.  

Team is in cruise control right now, just waiting for the star center to return.  Kemba has just been practicing crazy shots in the meantime so he'll be good to go in the playoffs.

Team is definitely not good right now. That's obvious.

People forget that the Hornets starting 5 (including Zeller and not Frank here) is 8th in efficiency, but no one can stay healthy. The problem is that this team has been so carefully constructed that if one piece is missing the whole machine falls apart. 

I think this team overall is talented enough to make noise. So getting a lotto pick and retaining everyone is definitely not a bad thing.

If we can upgrade the backup PG slot at the deadline that could help for this year. Roberts is awful.

I'd like to get into a situation where we find a starting 2 good enough to slide Nic to the 3 and push MKG to the bench. I think MKG could be an incredible 6th man with his energy.

I'm a believer in Clifford. Need to fortify the bench with a good backup PG and make a good draft selection and then I think we are back in business to be a real threat.

That's a stretch, but it's correct. Simply not enough talent. I'm still not the biggest Walker fan, guy is still poor at running the offense. He's a SG that has to go mini Westbrook for a chance at winning. It's a struggle every night, it's very draining.

I definitely agree Kemba is more a 2 than a 1. He is basically a poor man's Allen Iverson. Now that is still an all star but he isn't the transcendent talent that AI was and so he needs a lot more help. Getting a really big PG to pair with him who just focuses on distributing and can defend sg would help Walker tremendously.
