JR stated Rivera will be his last coach.

Rivera makes no staff changes of significance because he sees no issues.

As to what happened, I think the post a couple of spots above by Panthers1234 has a good thought.

Our WR and our backup TE dropping passes that hit them in the hands has nothing to do with whether or not Cam was hurried or the performance of the OL.

Sorry... its just not.

(P.S. That is NOT to say that Cam's and the OL's performances this year weren't problematic, by no means.)

It's hard to say what the problem last year was.  Cam had no time to throw, and I'm not sure he really focused on the off-season like he should have.  However, our receivers (with the exception of Olsen) did not impress me one bit.

They get one more season and if they play as shitty and lazy as they did last year, it's time to move on IMO.

I'd love to add someone to the mix however.  We desperately need a Julian Edelman type guy who is quick, tough and crosses the middle.

I'm not saying that we don't need to upgrade at WR bc we do but our problem is our o-line, OC and our QB. Fixing our o-line would improve our QB play but we still have the same OC so some of the same problems would still exist . Beni and Fun are big WR's that aren't playing big and aren't being used big. Our OC fails to use our players to their strength through playcalling. That seems to be the mentality here for some reason. Our new DC said that we aren't going to out smart you, we're going to out play you...or something to that effect. You must take advantage of every advantage to win!!!
