Why is nobody talking about Peppers?

Pepper is around 30s on many good draft borads. Just a deep draft for DBs. Combine will be huge for certain players, peppers is one of them. If he checks all the boxes, he could jump back into top ten easily.

Fyi I think Howard is for sure in the panthers top eight players that "fit" them and on many other teams top 15. Howard is a total package TE and the best one in a deep group.

He's not raw though.

Peppers has great tackling technique, sideline to sideline speed, a good motor, and so far stellar instincts. He makes open field tackles and rarely takes bad angles.

What else do you want from an in-box safety? The cherry on top is that he's athletic as fug.

Nothing about him is raw.

Yeah I guess the "raw" comparison was weak.

But can we agree that he is a tweener? Risky right?

I'm starting to like Peppers more than Adams... His tackling is much better he wraps guys up and targets the right part of the ball carrier to bring him down. Adams seems to always go for the guy's legs to me and that won't cut it in the big league.

Like who?

Allen, Adams, Hooker, Fournette, Foster are all players that might be available who are better players. You can even argue some of the CBs, Barnett, Solomon Thomas, and some others are more worthy of #8.

Peppers is a fine athlete but I don't see him on the same level as some of the prospects previously mentioned.
