As in "a game where not all of the bigs for both teams were in foul trouble." You're misunderstanding me and I should have been clearer. I was typing the same way I talk as opposed to being grammatically correct. I was presenting a scenario where the big men for both teams were not in foul trouble and Gonzaga did not have players on the bench due to fouls.

Ahh....well yeah that makes a difference.

who wouldn't prefer that? If they were allowed to play without fouls being called each time down the floor then yeah, I like Carolina's chances.

I do too. Kennedy Meeks did a great job on that big dude last night

The refs were absolutely horrendous in the 2nd half. They completely took over the game. Hell, I think both teams were in the double bonus by the 10 minute mark. That's absurd.

What I strongly disagreed with in that article was the comment about creating a flagrant foul that didn't exist. No, they called a foul on Joel Berry that didn't exist and gave Gonzaga two FTs that they should've never had. Did Berry's neck foul that lumberjack's arm as he was being choked and mauled to the ground like a gazelle by a lion?

Sadly the refs wanted to be apart of the game instead of controlling it.

Very poorly officiated game.   At least the calls were not one sided.  There were some really crappy call going both ways.

I was surprised only one player fouled out.  I am watching the game again on AFN.

Hard fought game and Carolina won fair and square.

The refs didn't decide the game but they did make it nearly unwatchable. I wanted Carolina to win for you guys and I'm glad they did. Just wish it would've been a more entertaining game. It was close so that's exciting but the refs put the breaks for the first 15 minutes of the second half and then they disappeared...kinda like the Falcons in the Super Bowl.

Hey does anyone remember that time the Falcons blew a 25 point lead in the Super Bowl? Good times.

I don't know how much it was playing in that stadium but there were some serious bricks from both sides.

Greedy NCAA wants to fill a football stadium for a Basketball game.   I hate it.

Yep, shooting usually suffers in those massive stadiums.

The experience in a football stadium is terrible. I have videos I'll post later of the concession areas and lower level concourse - you can't even move. I'm glad there wasn't booze being sold because people would have lost their cool more than they did.

I understand wanting to pack as many people into that event as possible, but it needs to be in a basketball arena.

I can only imagine.  Those that are in the nosebleed section would have done better to watch the game on TV.

From a viewing standpoint you're definitely right. The place was totally full up to the last rows. No idea how they could see anything.

For the lower level, they brought in around  10K extra seats. So when it was the busy time in the concourse - halftime, between games, etc - you literally couldn't move. I waited for over 30 mins at the concession stand on Saturday between games and never got closer than having 12 people in front of me before I gave up. It was a pretty shitty experience.
