I've clearly hit yet another nerve.  And that list speaks volumes.

The UNC AFAM department was not rigorous - think dook 3-year sociology degree from back in the day.  Anyone who went to college knows some classes are easier than others.  Its not uncommon for 1 of your 5-6 classes to be a slide.  That's part of going to college and all students have those options.  What dook is doing foregoes any suggestion that they are there to educate these "students". They are borrowing these kids for 6 months in order to pad their coaches stats.

You can always tell the bandwagon fan vs. the alum when they like 2 different schools in football and basketball.

And you can always tell someone who cares too much about what someone thinks when they say 'I don't give a fug what you think'.

This is where I kinda regret not going to a larger school. My undergrad didn't feature any easy grades. Honestly, my grad level work was a lot easier than my undergrad. When class sizes are almost always under 20 and often under 10, there's nowhere to hide. You missed a class and there's a good chance you're getting a phone call from the professor later that day wanting to know what's up.

The AFAM classes were really happening, but a disproportionate number of athletes were taking them.  My guess is this had more to do with the fact a disproportionate number of athletes also happen to be African American.  That's what AFAM stands for after all.

As far as Roy's recruiting, I don't know how hard he was going after these one-and-dones.  Sanctions did not stop him from getting these guys because there haven't been any sanctions.  I've heard some coaches have used the possibility of sanctions as a recruiting tool against unc, but I wouldn't think someone so "moral" as the dook coach would ever stoop this low.

All I know is UNC hasn't had a one-and-done since 2007.  Dook has had 7 since 2011 with one more likely this year.  I don't know if Zion Williamson is a one-and-done, but the fact 20+ schools have offered but dook and Kentucky have not suggests he might take his education a little more seriously than the typical dook basketball player.
