Todd McShay's Mock Draft 2.0. Fournette still be a Panther, bruhs.

If we have the option of deciding between Adams and Hooker I'll be happy.  Not to sound like the "he won't be there crowd" but I could really see at least one, if not both, of them gone by the time we pick.

Everyone is so caught up in the Fournette vs Adams vs Hooker discussion that it will probably be a Barnett vs Charlton vs Williams kind of decision.

Is Thomas really that much better than any of the DEs we could get in round 2 or 3... like for example Demarcus Walker

It seems like its going to be a huge ass drop off of talent between Myles Garret and all the other dudes , I don't know how well it would sit with me if 2 or 3 DEs went off the board before we pick and we pick #3 or #4 DE is it really worth it? When you drafting a t a position where you can get the #1 TE, RB, WR, OT, CB, or LB it seems like kinda wasteful unless you know he's going to be really good

Just worked out a QB today.  RB is the least of their worries.  Why would they resign Fitz when he was utter trash last year?  That would be awful.  They'll move on from him this offseason.

Because he balled out the year before and will be cheaper. Also you say there line is trash then trash Fitz. It's one or the other and putting a rookie QB behind a bad line is dumb. Also every team checks out every position and the Panthers will be checking out QB's as well. It want mean we are drafting them. With the defense that the Jets have you can bet one thing, a rookie QB ain't in the future whether Fitz comes back or not.

Their line is trash, but Fitz threw more picks then I can remember.  They'll move on from him.  Both are trash, he and their line.

What if the third ranked DE has a better grade then the 1st ranked OT?

DJ just released a new mock...

Shocker at #2. Really like the pick at 5. Not surprised with our pick with Fournette being gone

Yea I don't really see #2. How do you run a system with Blane Gabbert when you have Dwatt right there. The rest I agree with.

From what DG has said he wants to improve our team though FA that way we can pick BPA in draft.

I was talking about why someone might take the 3rd ranked DE over the 1st ranked OT.  That DE could be the BPA even with the OT still on the board.

That was what I was trying to convey. If FA sets up your draft you would take the very best player. No need to worry about needs because you have filled them. That's in a vacuum but it's what he says every time someone asks about his strategy.

That is fine but I wasn't talking about BPA or needs.

My earlier comment was in reference to a comment someone made about being disappointed if we picked the 3 or 4th best DE over the #1 at a different position.

I stated that it is possible for the 3rd best DE in this class to have a higher grade then say the 1st tackle.

    • i felt good for those few games that bryce didn't look like the worst in the league. all that fell apart again sunday.  i'm borderline just bailing on it all. i've been hanging on by a thin thread for several years. i mean it's not even fun to watch any football right now.
