Too damn good to ever be true. I would jizzzzz.

But yea I don't agree with giving Philly 4 mil one bit. Truly dislike that. You could probably get Robert Woods at 5-6 mil. Not everybody can get on the field at one time. If you're signing Wheaton already then he would replace Philly.

Reiff would make me really happy. Some guys on here do not like him very much bc he couldn't beat out Decker at LT. However he's an instant upgrade over Remmers and if Oher can come back health our OL will probably be better than 2015.

Melvin Ingram is probably the biggest pass rusher name this year. He will likely garnered more than 9 mil a year. I'm thinking at least 11.

Juszyck will get more too. Fatty Tolbert is averaging 1.6 mil, and he can't block or barely catch.

No worries. Rieff will get a lot more, Brown and Wheaton a lot less. Norwell more, but not as much as Reiff.

I think 6 is good for Reiff. If lucky, he gets 7.

Reiff is similar to another former Hawkeyes Tackle; Bryan Bulaga. Never truly lived up to the hype. Good but not great. Bulaga is average 6.

I don't know what guys will get. I'm just tossing numbers out there.

What is the actual cap space number that we have? I've seen 50. I've seen 30 or 35.

I do agree with others on here. Brought in too many free agents. It would be nice but I won't happen.

I don't see Gman splashing all the cap space in one year. Not us.

There's also no way we even entertain the thought of signing Ingram.

Ingram will get paid this offseason due to a lack talent on the FA market. He's a 3-4 OLB. He wouldn't be a 3 down defensive end in our 4-3. There's no way we're going to spend 10-12mill/yr on a situational pass rusher

Was going to make another thread for my mock offseason/dream scenario

Cuts:

Tolbert, Dickson, Soliai

Tag:

KK

Restructure:

Stewart- (extend another 2 years on his deal making cap friendly)  has looked real good for his age (he has had much less carries at his age due to split time with Dwill and missed time due to numerous injuries)

Extend:

Norwell

Philly- Im all aboard this one,  people are a little to hard on the kid.  He runs good routes and catches the ball well (go back and watch last season/superbowl season).  Not the flashiest, fastest, biggest guy.  But gets the job done when he plays.  Solid #3 ala Proehl when he played here.

FA:

 Chris Scott- key depth guy

Kyle Love- great depth

Captain Munnerlyn- 2 year 3mil.  Vet which is needed in this young secondary, And a very good slot player.

Peppers- 1 year deal similar to Allens last season.  Contemplatining retirement, comes back to finish his career at home and where it all started.

CJ- 2 year home friendly deal like this years.  Getting close to finishing his career.  Close to Richardson.  Guy he started career with, Pep, coming back to finish up

Prince Amukamara- didnt quite live up to last years FA.  Was considered top DB FA last year.  Tall athletic CB who was a stud in NY.  Good competition for Worley and another Vet to throw in with these young guys

Matt Kalil- 3 years 5 mil a year.  Good potential.  Competition with Oher for that LT, loser competes with Williams on the right side.

Cordarelle Patterson- 3 years 4.5 mil   Patterson is a former first rounder who hasnt panned out at WR but a good return man and athlete.  Sounds a Lot like the guy he is replacing in Ginn when he got here.  Ginns WR ability has gone up and should get a decent contract somewhere (like the bengals who are still looking for Sanus replacement) but his return has gone down.  Our return game has been bad the last few 2-3 seasons.  Patterson comes in and fixes that while we try to turn his WR ability around like Ginn

Andre Smith-  2 years prove it deal Former Stud RT who has dropped to a terrible OT the last 2 seasons.  Some think it is motivation which has been rumored since he came out.  Oher wss rumored possibly the same when he came in here but our OL staff and group of guys playing around them has lit a fire under him and played well.  Hopefully the same can be said with Smith creating competition on the right side.

DJ Swearinger-1 year prove it deal

Draft:

1st round  Leonard Fournette- Would Love Adams here but Fournette is one of the top 3 prospects in this draft.  Only reason why he drops he is concerns with injuries (much like the guy who he's compared to in AP who dropped to #7 after missing as much time as Fournette during their college careers)  Fournette takes over the Feature back role in a offense that centers and relies on the run game.  Plus with the threat of injury to Cam, the RBs need to take more of the load in the run game and Cam needs to peel back and be like Big Ben.  Fournettes addition also lets Stewart come in and play short reserve role and short yard (like you wouod see Tolbert come in)

2nd  Trade down:  not sure with who yet but no one in particular here worth that high a 2nd.   We drop back to the end of the 3rd and pick up a additional 3rd and possible 2018 4th.

2nd Antonio Garcia-  Weak OT class.  Garcia has potential.  Great athlete from a small school.  But is a tweener at about 290 and needs to add strength.  He wont be needed this year but will be groomed a year or 2 to become the future starting LT.

3rd Jordan Leggett- seen his name drop alot to the 3rd-4th because of the depth in this class.  Good athlete.  Great will to block which will fit the #2 TE well for us.  Soft hands as well to help in the pass game.

3rd (via trade) Tanoh Kpassagnon- potential through the roof at 4-3 DE

3rd comp  Daeshon Hall- Double up at DE getting 2 guys with real big upside.  Both great athletes.  With CJ, Pep, and Ealy (in contract year)  they wont need to be relied on this year.  With Pep and Ealy most likely gone after next year.  They take full advantage shadowing the vets around.

4th KD Cannon- one of the most explosive WR in this draft.  Came out a little to early much like most said of Trai Turner when he came out.  The speedster comes in to compete to catch deep balls from Cams Cannon.

5th Xavier Woods- looking for a SS whos not afraid of contact so Coleman can move back to FS.

6th Jalen Reeves Maybin-  we like those small athletic hybrid LBs.  Maybin was a stud when healthy.  Was injured a lot and came out to early.  Will be great depth.  Mayo, Cash, and Maybin will be a great backup group.  Maybin has the ability to be a contributer on ST like Cash this year.

7th Mack Hollins- Competition for that last #6 WR.  Hollins has the size and speed to intrigue scouts.  His work ethic is incredible.  Came to UNC as a walkon.  2015 led the NCAA in yards per reception as a junior and had 745 yards.  Graduated early and started his masters coming back his senior season but was cut short when he broke his collar bone.  What is also good about him is his ST play.  3 time ST captain at UNC.  He was seen out making key blocks for Switzer on his returns.
