He is good as advertised, the only team getting in the way is Jaguars but I think they will go for Dalvin Cook .

The 2 back system would be perfect for taking advatange of the players skill set, let Fournette do majority of the carries in traditonal run game while J-Stew  on Tolbert role of pass blocking , dump- offs,recieving, read-option, & short yardage.

He has more power & speed than him, maybe AP is graded 95.0 while LF is 93.0  thats still  a top 10 pick.

They are about equal in speed and power, the reason the video in the OP was for his pass blocking and pass catching, which is false since Fournette did as much catching as Peterson. Peterson is easily the most gifted runner since Sanders

Peterson does not have nearly as much mass or power as Fournette. And let's not forget how fumble prone Peterson is.

Would love us drafting him but I have a bad feeling he won't be there at 8. I wouldn't mind us trading up to get him.

Don't expect Fournette or Cook to be there. They are one of the 5 best players in the draft.

And hell no at trading up. This high up it will cost us.

Man, that video was exciting!  He is an extremely exciting player!  I loved the shots of him dropping his shoulder on defenders more than the big easy runs.

The better question though is the fit.  We've seen for decades, guys drafted who just don't "fit" a team.  If we're going to continue to use the read/option, even in play action and less Cam runs, he's not a good pick for us.  On the flip side, he seems to fit the conventional side of our offense.  Once he learns to trust the play and take what he gets, he COULD be a great player for us.

Thinking back, we have been at our best when we can run downhill on defenses.  Shula created a complex and layered running game using Cam and the read option to force defenses to play 11 on 11. Does Fournette work there?  The video said he would be a fish out of water in that system.  Conversely, we have done a lot with a more traditional running game with a fullback for most of our history.  So it would not be outside the realm of possibility for us to transition to a more smash-mouth, beating you with big men kind of running game.

If he was the pick (who knows how draft night will turn out, someone will make a crazy trade, always happens!), we would have to accommodate his strengths and not asking him to do things he's not used to doing.  Do we know if Shula is flexible enough?  Is the majority of the R/O leaving, and going back to traditional running to keep Cam alive?  Man, I hope so.

I think part of the "evolving" Rivera's been talking about includes moving away from the read/option.

No, you're just a gullible idiot.

See, now your just being obnoxious...for no other reason than to unreasonable hold on to your hate.  What's really funny is that you have shown zero evidence to dispute anything I said (because obviously there is no real evidence you can provide).  I know you are a typical stubborn internet tough guy that won't back down no matter how wrong you are proven to be, but I will break it down for you anyway.

1) Neither Shula nor Rivera had ever used, worked around, or been involved with an offense that relied on the read option prior to Cam.  That is an indisputable fact.

2) When we drafted Cam, both were involved with the adapting of our offense to include that element in order to tailor the offense to Cam's strengths (led by Chud of course)  Another indisputable fact.

3) So, the only reason the Carolina Panthers run the read option is to take advantage of Cam's strengths as a QB.  One more indisputable fact.

4) Rivera has spent the offseason talking about changing the offense to move away from Cam being the primary ball carrier.  You guessed it, an indisputable fact.

5) Here's where logic starts to happen, so pay attention: since they want to move away from Cam as the primary ball carrier, it's a logical assumption that they will change the focus away from the one element that was in our scheme solely for the purpose of using Cam as a primary ball carrier (not totally, but as a base concept). After all, what's the point of using the read option if the guy you implemented it for is not going to be running anywhere near as much.

6) Since both Shula and Rivera did not have a history with the read option prior to Cam, doing away with or limiting the read option is not an evolution, but simply them reverting to their base philosophy.  A final indisputable fact.

Since this is all I said, five out of the six point are indisputable, and the lone assumption is a logical one based on those indisputable facts.

Now, I'm sure you'll dispute them because, well, you are trying way to hard to push you agenda of hate, no matter how filled with fallacy it is.  Also, I know this because you had to get aggressive and insulting and in your youth, likely feel you cannot back down.  Well, you should let it go anyway; there's really nothing to argue with.
