Nfl free agents 2017: Most underrated names on the market.

This is truly DGs year to shine.

$50M in cap space, the #8 overall, and the #40 in the draft.

A young core of players still in place with SB/playoff experience.

A draft and FA that is deep at areas of need (DE, SAF, RB, WR3, TE, FB)

A miniscule pool to choose from for LT, but if a savvy mind is behind the wheel, one can be acquired (Reiff, Peters, Thomas, Staley, Kalil)

I fully believe DG put 2016 on cruise control with a young group of talented players, a SB run and not a lot of lost personnel that didn't initially have backups to step in for them (except for Norman). This offseason, he will have the most dough he has had since he arrived and four picks in the first 99 selections. Lots of room to maneuver around the draft and free agency this year.

Agree, and would add Branden Albert, Veldheer, Whitworth, Okung, and Clady to the LT possibilities.  Absolutely, positively, zero excuses.

Veldheer, Albert and Clady are not free agents I don't believe.

Clady is a likely cut.  http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2017/02/ryan_clady_jets_option_year_cut_left_tackle.html

The poster above mentioned a savvy minded GM.  Tunsil will move to LT and Albert can be moved after the Dolphins wild spending in recent years.  Ditto the Cardinals w/Humphries.

ALL options are on the table.

Wheres Ricky Wagner on that list?  Or maybe is isn't as underrated or maybe just not flashy name.  Id love to add either Wagner or Reiff to the tackle position and still draft a tackle like Antonio Garcia in the middle rounds.  Give us some insurance to go after other needs like DE, RB, and Safety.

Wouldn't that be a bittersweet bitch! I wanted Veldheer years ago when he first hit the market. If he would end up here now, older, coming off injury, after so many years of instability at the position, I'll just SMDH.

The Cards apparently have plans to move him to RT which could complicate things as far as valuation and compensation are concerned.

He's a RT.
