i started the season thinking we'd go 5-11.

taking another look at the schedule, i think we can beat tampa twice, and washington. other than those games, we might have a chance at buffalo and miami but they aren't easy games.

we could very easily go 3 and 13. with an outside shot at 5-11.

if we go 3-13, think about how valuable that first round draft pick would have been. a top ten pick and we traded it away for a second round pick for an undersized DE when we could have had one of the top 2 or 3 QB's.

ryan and flacco have done well. sanchez is doing well and even stafford is developing on a bad lions team.

we could have been there! now our only offseason hope at getting one of the really good QB's coming out next year is to get peppers to sign his tender and trade him for a top pick. we saw how that turned out last year.

looks like this bad habit of trading away the following year's #1 pick has finally caught up with us.

San Francisco is looking pretty sweet with our #1 next year. :mad:

i wish the rep was on so i could neg rep the hell out of you. seriously, every one of your posts, your threads, and even your username smacks of an inability to delight in ANYTHING about this time. you bitch and moan because thats all you know how to do.

even if you do turn out to be right - which you just might - stfu and save this poo for january. or february. hopefully february.

      football is a team sport.  winning comes down to the team.  evaluating an O or D?  You can do that in losing efforts.  I'd rather have an O that can do what Atl can do vs what the Panthers can do.  The Steelers ran the ball all over the Giants the week right before we did.  Which made it easy for Wilson to attack them downfield.    I mean, if there ever was a game to work on improving and growing Bryce.....games like the Giants game setup for it.  That's a QB dream setup.  A D that can't handle a run.  Makes opening up the O easy.   But we are just focused on trying to win in spite of him.

      No, just acknowledging he is on a run heavy offense, throwing to rookies who are developing but not exactly a recipe for a ton of productivity. Yet what i see as positives is actual pocket presence last 3 games, willingness and ability to stay and go through progressions, take shots downfield. He has a long ways to go but i see those as positive steps to hopefully more accelerated growth. Let’s see how they finish the year

      We had the worst passing offense in the league last year forcing the ball to AT for him to reach 1k yards. You make it sound like Bryce is middle of the pack in passing yards which almost everyone here would be fine with. But in reality he is at the very bottom. I mean the very bottom.
