This season, next year's draft, & the 49ers.

i started the season thinking we'd go 5-11.

taking another look at the schedule, i think we can beat tampa twice, and washington. other than those games, we might have a chance at buffalo and miami but they aren't easy games.

we could very easily go 3 and 13. with an outside shot at 5-11.

if we go 3-13, think about how valuable that first round draft pick would have been. a top ten pick and we traded it away for a second round pick for an undersized DE when we could have had one of the top 2 or 3 QB's.

ryan and flacco have done well. sanchez is doing well and even stafford is developing on a bad lions team.

we could have been there! now our only offseason hope at getting one of the really good QB's coming out next year is to get peppers to sign his tender and trade him for a top pick. we saw how that turned out last year.

looks like this bad habit of trading away the following year's #1 pick has finally caught up with us.

San Francisco is looking pretty sweet with our #1 next year.

I'm a little down on the team but that is downright ridiculous! No way we lose more than 9 games and it wouldn't surprise me if they won 9~10.

I don't think 9 will be good enough to get to the playoffs though.

It's going to be anther serious couple of years of QBs that we're going to miss out on.

2004/05 - Eli Manning, Phillip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger, Aaron Rodgers, Matt Schaub

2008/09 - Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco, Matt Stafford, Mark Sanchez

And I don't see us getting any of the Top QBs in 2010
