Leonard Fournette Vs Dalvin Cook

I tend to prefer Fournette but if you need to add "for his size" I don't think you can  give him a 10 for speed.

He's reported to run a 4.35, and I've seen him run way from top level DB's.  So, I think a 10 is warranted for speed.

I really think Cook would be better for this offense than LF. I would then go OJ Howard in the second.

But who am I kidding? This is the Panthers and they will certainly go defense, defense, defense...and then proceed to give up 80 points a game.

I agree except Howard wont be there in the second rd.

There is probably no thinner position (talent wise) on this team than runningback. After Stew we've got nobody close to his talent level.

Stew was supposed to be a top ten pick but due to injury he dropped much like Star did. Needless to say we got lucky and he has had a great career here in Carolina. Elite runningbacks aren't as plentiful as some seem to think. There is a big difference between a bona fide 1st round back, 2nd round back or undrafted free agent back and the difference is huge.

Ron Rivera was quite clear that they need another runner to evolve outside of needing Cam to run on the radio the other day. He was complimentary toward both RB's when asked.

Knowing the Panther organization runningback will always be higher priority. I'd love them to trade the second rounder and try to get into mid-late 1st round territory because of the glut of DE's in the draft.

There's no doubt we need to revive the run game.

We are either gonna go RB/TE depends on who falls. Getting a TE in the lower rounds will be better value like Leggett who can help out in pass protection & run blocking while giving Cam a chain mover.
