It's embarrassing Scot. We get huckstered every other season. The organization didn't do enough to win the offseason before the SuperBowl and took steps backward the next year.

The Panthers organization is getting outboxed by their peers. No logic can explain away a black eye.

Yea mostly the same players for ATL they just brought in a new coaching staff.....meanwhile our core HoF players are wasting away with terrible coaches.

Same thing happened in Denver....people can whine about people whining all they want but it's beyond maddening that we know the issue and how to fix it and we have more than one recent case to go off of as a reference....Rivera can't get it done especially with Shula.

In a few more years when we fire Rivera with 0 rings to show for it  we still won't be NFL front office personnel or owners but we'll still be right.

This will be Rivera and Shula's last year with the Panthers if they fail to make the playoffs or the offense does not improve. I am going to hold them to their words about wanting the offense to evolve and this is not the last you have seen of the Panthers.The 2016-2017 NFL Season will be in the books in a couple of hours. I am looking forward to a productive offseason from the front office

You know what's the most depressing? By the time Rivera and Shula finally get fired, Cam and Luke will be on the decline. If we don't win a superbowl in the next 3-4 years, you can kiss our superbowl chances goodbye.

Hell, congrats to the Falcons. They're a better-run franchise with better coaches than this team will ever have. I wasn't sure how I'd feel knowing the Panthers will forever be the worst team in the NFC South, but they deserve to be.

Quinn has bitch slapped Rivera, whom I like a lot. There is no guarantee we'll get back there with Cam and Luke and TD and Greg etc.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. It's nut check time Panthers organization, Dave Gettleman. The coaches and players want to win and I'm not blaming them for not being equipped to do so.

Short sighted is not paying attention to patterns. Especially a pattern that happens through the course of over 2 decades. You have to be completely blind or stupid to not notice a pattern over that course of time. Like I said in the other thread, we're the only Super Bowl loser to be so full of ourselves that we do nothing the following offseason to improve the team. We still havent made any coaching improvements. We would rather promote from within for the sake of "continuity". Whatever the hell that is. Two winning seasons out of 6 under Rivera. The only thing he is continuing is mediocrity.  We are a team that is poorly managed from the top down. We never strive to be great. No back to back winning seasons in 22 seasons. 

That is your barometer of success? Back to back winning seasons?

Are you chicken Littles saying that we are "currently" a mediocre team or all time? Because they are two different things.

We have been average the entire 22 years... Superbowls and #1 picks surrounded by 8-8s and 9-7s and 7-9s.

But that is "historically"...

We are currently on an uptrend. If you do not see that, then I strongly encourage you to never invest in the stock market.

If you think we are the browns, or that this FO is the reason for your own low self worth, then seek another team or another sport.

This is the NFL... few teams are consistently good. Worst to first happens a helluva lot. And visa versa.

I can tell you this... and there is no debate.

What yall are advocating for... change in leadership...

Talk to the Browns or Raiders of the last 20 years.

There is a direct correlation between front office continuity and success. Teams who make changes as a knee jerk are the ones who are the worst since the salary cap.

Again... have some perspective.
