Maybe, maybe not.  Much easier to cover Cotchery and Tolbert than Julio and Freeman.  Likewise, I think Atlanta would have put up a good amount of points on that Broncos team.

Its the case of one coaching staff examining themselves, understanding what wasn't working, adjusting and changing.

Nah, I have to go with talent upgrade. Coaching helps but they actually did upgrade a lot in one season. 

First they started off 5-0 last year so it's not like they sucked. 

2nd they upgraded WR number 2,3. And TE. They got Alex Mack and because he plays C it upgraded the entire line. 

Vic Beasley made a huge jump going from bust to all pro in one year. They're two rookies, although inexperienced are very talented. 

This isn't to say scheme doesn't matter, I'm just saying that I'd take Mike Shula and a loaded team over Bill Bilichiek and an average one.

Didn't mean to pie. Totally disagree. If there's one thing football has taught me, it's never to underestimate an elite defense..and Denver had an all time one. 

And don't think to call NE defense elite. There were no elite D's in the league this year. NE was just the best of the bad.

Falcons O is way better than ours last year. We overachieved and it finally caught up to us in the biggest game of the year
