This Year's WPMOY Award Is A Tie - One Person Didn't Make It

Guys getting butthurt and talking poo about an award that acknowledges a dude for being a good overall person is some next level irony.

It's not so much butthurt, but more in how did they even come up with this? This isn't like offensive player of year where they need stats. All three are great individuals and equally deserving, but there can only be one. Two winning and leaving one out makes no sense. Did they decide oh, Greg Olsen is a great man, but didn't quite live up to the Walter Payton name. NOW ELI AND FITZY ON THE OTHER HAND!...

ok, maybe a little butthurt too.

I agree with this and pretty much any Cracka post on this forum.

This isn't about the award and what it stands for it's about whoever picks the winner and was unable to pick one guy like every other year and instead picks two and shafts the third guy. It's just idiotic.

Yea. A 'dude' that just happens to be multiple dudes. 2 out of 3 to be exact. Either give the award to a single winner or give it to all 3. By saying that 2 people deserve it is giving the impression that the 3rd is undeserving. And that is a abomination as far as I'm concerned. What an embarrassment by the NFL.

No it isn't.

What most seem to be missing is the point of this. It's not to win a competition but to bring attention to the various charities these guys work with.  It has done that. All the influential people with money who run in these circles learn about the causes and are inclined to help. They can help more than one. That's the purpose, not Greg or whoever being declared a winner.

So Eli's and fitz's cause is worth an award but greg's isn't? An award should be able to shine a light on the best. By giving it to 2 out of 3 possible winners says 1 was not up to par with the rest and I despise the fact Greg didn't get the recognition he deserved. I'm not one for conspiracy theories but anyone that sits and reads olsens story without tearing up is crazy.
