Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 12 (CLE): Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU (A)
Round 1 Pick 17 (WASH): O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama (A)
Round 1 Pick 23 (NYG): Jabrill Peppers, SS/FS, Michigan (A-)
Round 2 Pick 14 (IND): Charles Harris, DE/OLB, Missouri (B+)
Round 2 Pick 23 (NYG): Roderick Johnson, OT, Florida State (A-)
Round 3 Pick 1 (CLE): Quincy Wilson, CB, Florida (A-)
Round 3 Pick 16 (IND): Zay Jones, WR, East Carolina (A+)
Round 4 Pick 8: Dalvin Tomlinson, DT, Alabama (A+)

Traded down from 1/8 for 1/16, 2/15, and 3/14: They picked Haason Reddick

Traded with Cleveland: Sent them 2018 first rounder (will be pick 32 duh), 2/32(NE), 3/14 (Balt), 6/8 and 7/15 for 1/12 and 3/1 to pick Fournette.

Traded down with TB from 1/16 for 1/19 and 2/18: They took Jamal Adams (BOO!)

Traded with Washington: I got 1/17 and sent them 2/15 (Balt), 2/18 (TB), 3/34, and 5/8: To take Howard

Traded down with NYG from 1/19 for 1/23 and 2/23. They took Ramczyk.

Traded down with IND from 2/8 for 2/14 and 3/16.

My plan as fantasy GM is to immediately incorporate Fournette alongside Stewart, Howard as a second TE in some sets.

Peppers will float at either safety spot, but will primarily be an outside rusher on passing downs and an in-the-box guy on run downs.

Harris will rotate on the DE spots but will also be an outside rusher/sub at OLB on either side.

Rod Johnson will compete immediately at RT with some work at LG in there when needed.

Quincy Wilson will come in and learn behind Munnerlyn and our guys from last year, but will compete for the nickel and spot safety duty if needed.

Zay Jones will compete immediately for the slot and offer play making potential lost with Ginn.

Tomlinson will be added to the DT rotation. He's also insurance if we let KK and/or Star walk.

You're welcome for the three consecutive Superb Owl wins, Panthers fans!

I know I'll get crucified for doing it if I am the Panthers GM IRL, but I kinda like this one I did.

Traded up picks 1/8, 4/8, 7/15 + 2019 R1 pick to Chicago for 1/3, 4/4, and 4/10

Traded up picks 2/32, 4/10, 6/8 + 2018 R1 pick to Cleveland for 1/12 (probably overspent here, but I wanted to get Fournette)

Traded down from 2/8 to Indy for 2/14 and 3/16

Traded down from 2/14 to Denver for 2/19 and 3/18

Traded down from 2/19 to Miami for 2/22 and 3/33

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 3 (CHI): Myles Garrett, DE/OLB, Texas A&M (A-)
Round 1 Pick 12 (CLE): Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU (A+)
Round 2 Pick 22 (MIA): Zay Jones, WR, East Carolina (A)
Round 3 Pick 16 (IND): Josh Jones, SS, NC State (A)
Round 3 Pick 18 (DEN): Roderick Johnson, OT, Florida State (A)
Round 3 Pick 33 (MIA): Dalvin Tomlinson, DT, Alabama (A-)
Round 3 Pick 34 (COMP): Jordan Leggett, TE, Clemson (B+)
Round 4 Pick 4 (CHI): Shaquill Griffin, CB, UCF (C+)
Round 5 Pick 8: Daeshon Hall, DE, Texas A&M (A-)

Garrett is our stud DE for years to come to be mentored by Pep.
Fournette is our RB of the future to share the load and learn from Stew.
Zay Jones comes in pushing for the third slot immediately, and could push Funch for the #2 spot.
Josh Jones learns on Thieves Ave. from Coleman and Adams and is groomed into our starter.
Rod Johnson competes with Williams at RT and Norwell at LG.
Tomlinson is added to the rotation and acts as Short/Star insurance.
Leggett is TE#2 and eventual Olsen replacement.
Griffin comes in as CB#4 but can learn from Captain and our 2nd year guys.
Hall adds to the pass rusher rotation and he's Garrett's teammate, so we can tap into A&M's bag of tricks.

Yes, I mortgaged our next two years' first round picks, but I think I got at least 6 future starters and 3 solid backups/spot starters.

What's up guys. First time poster, long-time reader/listener/first-pick.com addict haha

I have been at this stupid addicting game for awhile and finally posted my highest score of 15135 (A+). Obviously still not near the leaders which I still don't know if is possible but I keep edging closer. Here are my results.

Round 1 Pick 13 (ARI): Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU (A+)
Round 2 Pick 8: Charles Harris, DE/OLB, Missouri (A)
Round 2 Pick 15 (BALT): Kevin King, CB, Washington (A-)
Round 2 Pick 16 (MINN): Obi Melifonwu, SS, Connecticut (A)
Round 2 Pick 32: Taylor Moton, OT/OG, Western Michigan (A)
Round 3 Pick 7 (LAC): Zay Jones, WR, East Carolina (A+)
Round 3 Pick 24 (OAK): Chris Wormley, DT, Michigan (A+)
Round 4 Pick 8: Tyler Orlosky, C, West Virginia (A+)
Round 5 Pick 8: Sam Rogers, FB, Virginia Tech (A)
Round 6 Pick 9 (CINN): Michael Roberts, TE, Toledo (B)
Round 7 Pick 9 (CINN): Jordan Sterns, FS, Oklahoma State (B-)
Round 7 Pick 15: Austin Rehkow, P, Idaho (A)

Some keys that I've honed in on is, almost always, trading back in the first round. The only exceptions I've made to this (and obviously keep in mind I'm talking recently, the player ratings change frequently) is when a guy like Allen or Thomas falls to us. If this doesn't happen, you'll have Fournette (an A+ lock) or Adams fall to you. I got lucky this time with Harris falling to me (considered trading up but kept in mind who the teams in front of me needed and who they picked first round).

The extra picks (actually traded down twice for Fournette) definitely helped my score. I was surprised King didn't give me a better grade, maybe I should've gone Awuzie. Realistically, the Panthers should pounce on Melifonwu if he is there in the early second, but we are just talking about the game here. So I go Obi next, then keep tabs on the OT market and Morton falls to me.

I was ready to trade for Zay Jones after Morton but again kept my eyes on the others teams previous picks and needs, and luckily Zay falls to me at 3.7. The site loves him. Wormley falls to 3.24 which is an obvious steal. Orlosky was on the board for forever and again I was ready to trade with my extra picks, but the teams in front of me let him fall. I basically went team need after this, basically what you have to do in the late rounds, and Rogers is a great R5+ pick.

George Kittle kept falling and I literally traded every team from like 5.18 on to us at 6.9 (with our 6th and 7th), but to no avail. You can't trade for comp picks and that's where he fell to.

For me, I think the key is to realize what the site tells you as team need, and frequently compare that with who is falling on the board.

If I was DG I would obviously pick differently, but I'm playing the site at this point. Although I could definitely live with this draft...

Traded down once with Cleveland for their pick 12 and R2P1. and then use R2P1 and R2P8  picks to trade back into the first round with the Titans to select OJ Howard. Zay Jones somehow drops all the way through the 2nd round .

This probably isn't very realistic considering only 2 defense picks but I think this is the year to load up on offensive talent. We can focus on drafting our DE of the future next year , we got enough talent at DE this year to compete quite well. Don't forget they have a lot of cumulative experience as well.

Round 1 Pick 12 (CLE): Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU (A+)
Round 1 Pick 22 (MIA): O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama (A+)
Round 2 Pick 32: Zay Jones, WR, East Carolina (A+)
Round 3 Pick 34 (COMP): Justin Evans, SS, Texas A&M (A)
Round 4 Pick 8: Dede Westbrook, WR, Oklahoma (A-)
Round 5 Pick 8: Erik Magnuson, OT, Michigan (A)
Round 6 Pick 8: Conor McDermott, OT, UCLA (B)
Round 7 Pick 15: Channing Stribling, CB, Michigan (A+)

trade down once with the colts for their 2nd and 3rd, somehow Adams drops all the way to #15 and is a steal of value at that pick.  Use two of our 3 seconds to trade with the Redskins pick 20 to pick up McCaffrey.

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 15 (IND): Jamal Adams, SS, LSU (A+)
Round 1 Pick 20 (DEN): Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford (A)
Round 2 Pick 32: Zay Jones, WR, East Carolina (A+)
Round 3 Pick 16 (IND): Dede Westbrook, WR, Oklahoma (B+)
Round 3 Pick 34 (COMP): Jake Butt, TE, Michigan (A)
Round 4 Pick 8: Samaje Perine, RB, Oklahoma (B+)
Round 5 Pick 8: Erik Magnuson, OT, Michigan (A)
Round 6 Pick 8: Marquez White, CB, Florida State (A)
Round 7 Pick 15: Joshua Dobbs, QB, Tennessee (B-)

Kept both future firsts int hat one. Traded down twice in the first round and then used 2/8 and others to move back in for Howard. Stayed put most of the rest of the way.

2019 Round 1 Pick

A different approach. Was hoping Fournette would fall to 17 (I traded down from 8 to 13, then 13 to 17, but Washington burned me by taking him at 13. I just ate it then and took Howard.

In the second, I was surprised to see Davis still on the board at 8. I didn't hesitate. Minnesota wanted to move up to 2/13, so I slid down three spots to 2/16 and picked up 3/11 in the process. The Vikings took Carlos Watkins, DT Clemson at 2/13. I ended up with Budda at 2/16, which wasn't a bad deal. I further solidified our young DB squad with Awuzie on the next pick.

I felt like I needed some help on the DL that I hadn't addressed yet, so I traded 2/32, 3/34, and 5/8 to move up to 2/19 and snag Brantley. He's Star and Short insurance, and will solidify a 4 man/young rotation.

3/13 rolled around and Rod Johnson was on the board. He's like my third or fourth best Tackle prospect so I scooped him up pretty quick.

3/22 was a little early for Perine by First-Pick standards, but Mixon just came off the board and I didn't want to risk losing a shot at him by 4/8.

4/8 arrived and I snagged a pass rusher for the outside. I'm a fan of Smoot and think he could be a lot like CJ has been in our system.

It was a long wait until 6/8, but I didn't really feel like I had many needs at this point. I took Hill, because I think he is highly underrated and in case Perine doesn't do what I think he'll do in the NFL.

With my last pick, I took Norton. He's a depth guy at Tackle with a big frame. 6'8 HAWG MOLLIE!

OJ Howard and Corey Davis make this draft worth it , hot damn . Can't complain about Cam not having receiving talent with Davis, Benjamin, Olsen, and Howard. Who knows what funchess does this coming season he didn't do too hot after showing flashes his rookie season .

Round 1 Pick 11 (N.O.): Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU (A+)
Round 1 Pick 26 (SEA): John Ross, WR, Washington (A)
Round 2 Pick 32: Roderick Johnson, OT, Florida State (B+)
Round 3 Pick 34 (COMP): Jordan Leggett, TE, Clemson (B+)
Round 4 Pick 8: J.J. Dielman, OT, Utah (B)
Round 5 Pick 8: Sam Rogers, FB, Virginia Tech (A)
Round 6 Pick 8: Bryan Cox, DE, Florida (A-)
Round 7 Pick 15: Tedric Thompson, SS, Colorado (B-)

Traded down once with the Saints because they didn't want anyone else taking Barnett. And Traded back up with the Seahawks since Ross dropped a good bit, traded our two high seconds for pick 26 to take Ross.  The rest of the draft is what it is, We're basically banking on one of the OTs working out to become good depth or a starter if we're lucky, Leggett should be an instant starter if we're running two TE sets. Fournette, Ross, and Legett should transform our offense and this way Shula has no more excuses, he has the requisite amount of offensive talent to score 30+ a game.

And after free agency we have enough veterans in critical places on defense except at cornerback, but at least Bradberry and Worely have a year of experience under their belt and can learn a bit from Munnerlyn and Adams. We can use next year's draft to focus on young defensive talent probably DE and Saftey .

This is a particularly zany one when i trade down multiple times in round 1 and the do multiple trade ups back into round 1.

Your score is: 14115 (GRADE: A+)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 15 (IND): Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford (A)
Round 1 Pick 18 (TENN): O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama (A)
Round 1 Pick 30 (PITT): Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan (A+)
Round 3 Pick 16 (IND): Sidney Jones, CB, Washington (A-)
Round 3 Pick 34 (COMP): Eddie Jackson, SS, Alabama (A)
Round 4 Pick 8: Samaje Perine, RB, Oklahoma (B+)
Round 5 Pick 8: Erik Magnuson, OT, Michigan (A)
Round 6 Pick 8: Conor McDermott, OT, UCLA (A)
Round 7 Pick 15: Zane Gonzalez, K, Arizona State (A+)

This one is much more realistic with no trades going on , first couple of picks on offensive superstars , a project tackle with high upside , and rest of the draft is mostly defensive depth

Round 1 Pick 8: Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU (A+)
Round 2 Pick 8: John Ross, WR, Washington (A+)
Round 2 Pick 32: Roderick Johnson, OT, Florida State (B+)

If we did move up this would be what it looks like. We moved up to #3. Giving away our 8th pick, next year's first, and the 64th pick. We drafted LF. Also, traded with a rival. A little unrealistic but oh well.

RealisticMoveUp.PNG

I could see that happening. And the cost isn't terrible either to get to pick 3 . Probably nobody would like giving up a first rounder but you pretty much have to , to move into the top 5. Either that or give a kings ransom of picks from this year's draft which would be worse considering we probably won't have such high picks again in a while.
