Um...they call that the league bringing in a fug ton of money, salary caps increasing, new CBA to reflect value of NBA franchises skyrocketing.  What a shitty position for the league and the players to be in.  Right?

If I'm a player, extremely happy. If owner, I've already sold the team. If you believe a sudden 20% increase in cap space for the entire league was for the best..... Sure if you where Timothy mozgov, miles plumpee, Tyler Johnson, Noah, deng etc etc... I cannot see why giving the bottom 10% of league huge 12-18 million per year is good for business. I wish I was a baller......

I get what you are saying.. everyone got their Cap boosted for one year - it didn't help all the players in the league, just the ones who happened to be FAs this offseason..

it was really stupid way to handle it, in my opinion.. they should have gradually allowed it to bloom.. otherwise - you wouldn't have the ability to put KD on an already stacked Warriors team and below average-average players making 10+ mil a year..

If they just adjusted all NBA salaries by a certain percentage so every player league-wide got a XX.XX amount dollar increase - that would have been more fair than the BS we saw this offseason..

No joke. A bunch of overpaid fuggers.

There's talk about Philly sending Okafor to New Orleans for a 2018 1st and Alexis Ajinca.

Wow!!!! Rich dumbass Cho wasn't smart enough to do that? Of course not.

When you look at it, Ajinca and Spencer Hawes' contracts are almost identical. Hawed actually is having a better season. I'm tired of this front office screwing this team every single season. Wants to keep draft picks to fug it up or trade it for a mediocre vet on draft day. It's the NBA! If you don't possess a top 5 pick, trade the damn sucker.

Okafor would've push up as a top 4 Eastern team. Instead, we got the legendary Duke Blue Devils White Boy, Miles Plumlee.

That would be one of the few trades that would actually be worse than the Plumlee deal. Okafor is terrible, his ceiling is a sixth man on a mediocre team. The Pelicans are incredibly stupid for even considering that.

No it's not. Plumlee better than Okafor? Yuck
